Shoppes At College Hills — Local services in Normal

Since the mall has been taking a nose dive to going out of business (LOL) this is the next best thing BloNo has for shopping.

While most of the stores are women's clothing chain stores, there's still Target where you can purchase everyday household items and inexpensive places to eat for under $10 (Taco Bell, Panda Express, Hardee's, Chick-fil-A, McDonald's).

The best store was in 2017 when The Halloween Store opened up next to Dress Barn. As soon as they opened, customers started coming in to look at the Halloween decorations and play with the props and to get ideas for what they wanted to go as that year. I went as a ketchup bottle. I even made a comedy YouTube video "Ketchup Bottle Challenge Chicago Featuring Matthew Hussey" in which I made fun of him, in a good way not in a mean way.

A unique shopping experience. Unlike a traditional mall with store under one roof the Shoppes At College Hills offers clusters of name brand establishments in an old town atmosphere you have to walk from building to building. This may be the only narrative about the Shoppes. The atmosphere is very friendly. It's like a tiny town where people come to shop. I'll be honest - I haven't visited most of these shops. Hobby Lobby is nice. The new one, not the old one. I got really good fried pickles somewhere?I frequently lose all sense of direction here, even when I'm not driving myself. Target has food now. I went to dinner at Flat Top with some people I don't know anymore, and then afterward we all went to go see "The Fault in Our Stars". Starbucks!!
