Two stars because this kung pao chicken is technically edible/probably safe to eat. The restaurant is very cozy with great decor. Shame that they aren’t open for dine-in. That concludes the positive part of this review. Papers taped to the door instruct one to enter through the Asian market. I was greeted immediately and explained I had a takeout order. The man tore a ticket from a machine (my order, which had gone unnoticed for the entire estimated waiting period), and invited me to sit and wait in the restaurant for 10 more minutes. (Lights were off, kitchen completely dormant) He then took the ticket into the kitchen, and single-handedly assembled the most uninteresting kung pao chicken to ever exist. Wildly under seasoned. Mostly squash. Measly portion of poorly-velveted chicken. The rice is obviously microwaved pouch rice disguised in a takeout box. Seems like they brought a dead part of their business back to life just long enough to waste my $20. Hilariously...
