STAY AWAY.
There are no health standards here. The chef coughed the entire time we were there while cooking our food without covering his mouth (we can see you when the door to the kitchen opens!), the hostess dropped silverware on the floor and then picked it up and wrapped it in a napkin like nothing happened (right in front of us, no care at all), children (obviously the owner's family) were running around like it's their personal playground, the paint was peeling off the walls, there were bugs flying around, and there were no other customers on a bright, sunny Saturday afternoon (should've taken that as a sign).
The bathroom also had no toilet paper (even though it looked like someone just destroyed it recently) and there was urine all over the toilet seat (probably from the little boy that went in there twice while we waited for our food). There was an old man sitting in a corner staring at a cabinet the entire time we were there and the hostess looked like she didn't care to be there.
I will not visit this restaurant again and I urge the Health Department to...
Read moreThere are three menus. If you order takeout, you're getting a standard Americanized Moogoo Gai Pan Chinese menu. But if you order in and grab the dine in or Hot Pot menus? Bam, mmm-mmhh! honey, you are gonna get authentic Chinese food that tastes straight like it came out of Southern China, as local as local gets. Gently spicy, wide variety, mimics 菜式 from all over. Before you pick to dine in, make sure you expect the traditionally Chinese service: The Dad is working the back and the Mom is handling the register in the restaurant AND store all on her own. Your drink will not get refilled, you will have to go looking to get your bill, call it part of the experience and blame COVID, we're lucky any of our local places survived! I eat here once a week and always over-order; the food is inexpensive and I love taking a surplus home for the weekend to spoil myself with...
Read moreI got the boba tea and was surprised that it was like 5.48. Because of the price I expected a good drink. The drink itself was okay, nothing to praise. The actual boba was hard to chew. The tea part was okay but the drink itself was room temperature. I did wait around 10 minutes for the tea to be brought to me. The store itself wasn't busy, it only had two other people.
Edit: I went again and ordered the spicy wonton soup, it certainly lived up to it's name. However it did take a bit for the food to arrive. My rating does stay the same because after a couple of hours. I felt sick and ended up hurling. I'm not sure if it was the food or not, but the soup was the only thing I consumed in that time zone. Also when I checked out, the ticket had an automatic tip added to it. I thought that was kind of strange. Especially considering I had to ask for someone to...
