Subject: Urgent Health & Privacy Concerns Following Stay With Host Tommy

It has now been five days since our stay at the property hosted by Tommy, and unfortunately, my fiancée and I continue to suffer from painful, itchy bug bites sustained while at the property. We are deeply concerned about the unsanitary conditions we encountered in the bedroom, including a clear infestation of dust mites, which we believe led to the bites.
Due to the strict refund policy, we had no choice but to remain at the property for the duration of our stay. However, we were so disturbed by the condition of the room that we purchased our own cleaning supplies to reclean both the bedroom and bathroom. The attached images—taken before we cleaned—were also shared with the host, yet he has denied all responsibility.
Even more troubling was a serious violation of our privacy. The day after check-in, the host entered our private bedroom without knocking or giving any notice, using a door code. I was actively changing clothes and felt completely violated. Both my fiancée and I witnessed this. The host opened the door, saw us inside, and abruptly closed it after realizing we were there. We take our privacy seriously, and this incident was deeply distressing.
The property is equipped with surveillance cameras, one of which directly faces the bedroom door. We ask that Airbnb obtain and review this footage to confirm our account. We also note that the host has since left a troubling and inaccurate review on our profile, which we strongly believe is retaliatory.
We are requesting a full investigation and an appropriate resolution. Due to the physical discomfort caused by the bites and the psychological impact of having our privacy invaded, we are also exploring options to file a formal complaint with the court and the Department of Agriculture, particularly under tenant/guest privacy rights and health code violations.
Please take this matter seriously. This has negatively impacted our trip, our health, and our peace of mind. We are counting on Airbnb to support and protect its guests. We are claiming reimbursement for medical expenses, loss of vacation, refund for our stay, pain and suffering, removal of host review.
