If you live in Blue Springs, MO. Do not use Meiners Market located at 1005 Coronado Rd., and Adam’s Dairy Parkway that is attached to the Burger King on the North East Corner of the intersection. I bought $45.00 worth of gas yesterday and they charged my American Express $175.00! That’s more than 3 times what I paid for.
I went back to the store just now after looking at my American Express App and seeing the charge. Mathew told me it happens all the time, I told him it doesn’t happen at any other stations I go to, and he started to argue with me and made me angry. You don’t argue with the customer. Then I asked 6 times for the store manager’s contact number, he went to the back came back and printed off someone else’s receipt and told that his number was at the top.
When I called it was the stores phone number. I asked again for the Manager’s number and they gave me a different number which went to the Lee’s Summit store and not the manager. So Kevin over there said he didn’t have a contact number for his manager or his owner, and they were separate from the Blue Springs store. I called Blue Springs store back and Mathew answered and told me he didn’t have a contact number for the manager or the owner. I told him that was a lie, they had to have a number to call someone if issues arise they can’t handle or if something happens at the store. He said they’re all half an hour away, and I said I’m not asking them to come in, I want to talk to them by phone. He refused to assist me so I told him I will have your job, and s left it at that. I will be calling the manager and the owner tomorrow, this is unacceptable customer service, and an unacceptable practice of charging a customers car more than 3 times what they spent!
