Goodcents — Restaurant in Blue Springs

I've tried multiple times this place still sux!!!! I ordered delivery, after an hour wait I called to see where my sandwiches were. I was told they were waiting on the driver shouldn't be much longer. So I waited and waited still no food so I called again. I was told this time that the driver just left and was headed to me. I live just a few blocks away, so I waited 10 more minutes. I could have walked there by now so I called AGAIN. I told them at this time to cancel my order and I was driving up there to get my refund (I used my debit card online to prepay). When I arrived the girls hid in the back of the store giggling and the driver refunded me my money. As I was leaving the "Director of Operations" (Matthew) was arriving, apparently the girl had called him to tell him I was coming to the store for my refund. He apologized to me and gave me a gift card to try them again. Tonight I went in there and order a sandwich and a kids meal. My daughter asked me as this same girl (the hide and seek champion) was ringing us up if hers came with chips I told her I didn't think the kids meals did. We were 3 feet from this girl at the register, she never told us it came with chips either. So I got chips but she decided not to. As we were leaving my daughter notices the menu says it does come with a side (chips or a cookie) so we go back to get our chips. When I get home to look at the receipt I see she charged me for a 12" sandwich when I ordered and received an 8" sandwich. WOW!!! I tap out Goodcents, you win. Had a digital coupon for buy 1 get 1 free for 8 inch sub. When I went to pay, I showed the guy the coupon on my phone. He said he needed a paper cut out of the coupon. I told him that we had used this coupon a few times in the last several months and they had always accepted the one from my phone. He refused to accept it. I told him that if he was not going to accept the coupon then he could keep the sandwiches. He responded with, " Don't ever come back here again." I told him they should train their employees better on which coupons to accept. He responded with, "I'm the general manager, I don't care to hear that." I was not happy about him not accepting the coupon but for him to tell me to never come back... Are you kidding me. On 2 previous occasions, we had called to ask if they would accept the coupon from our phone and they said yes. I have worked in a few different restaurants and I am well aware that some customers can be total jerks and his response would have been merited. I, however did not raise my voice to him or cause a scene or treat him rudely, in the least. If I were the franchise owner of this restaurant, this guy would be fired. I went to this location after not having mr. good cents in a year. I always loved the food. When I arrived I never was greeted and I noticed the guy who was putting on his gloves was touching and smearing his hands on the finger part. Gross, especially in a time of the pamedic . I ask if he could put new gloves on because of what he was doing, he got offended and under his breath called me a dirty names and walked away. I kept my cool another kid took over and claimed he was the manager and started to make my sandwich but kept laughing at me. I’m a middle age female and grandma. Didn’t know it was funny for me to buy a sandwich. Than I checked out . He said sorry no receipt. So I went to my car because I felt he was lying to me n grabbed my cell n told him I will record him saying they have no receipt of my purschase but than he gave me a receipt so I was right . He did lye to me than told me I was banned and to never return to that store again and we had a exchange of words.
