Extremely Disappointing Experience at Alo Store
I’m shocked and disappointed by the level of unprofessionalism I encountered at this Alo location. I work with the public every day, and I’ve never experienced anything like this. The store manager (the taller African American woman), a woman who refused to give her name, was incredibly rude and dismissive from the moment I walked in. Her behavior set a tone for the rest of the staff, including the cashier and the other manger, who was equally uninterested and unhelpful.
The entire team seemed more interested in chatting with each other than assisting customers. When I attempted to address a concern, I was met with attitude and no accountability. Even the security guard admitted that issues with this staff are frequent, which says everything.
This store desperately needs intervention from corporate. The current team lacks professionalism, courtesy, and basic customer service skills. Alo should seriously consider retraining or replacing the staff entirely - in particular the so called “store manger”. It’s clear they have no pride in representing the brand.
Alo’s products may be premium, but the in-store experience at this location is anything but. I truly hope the corporate office listens, because right now, this store is doing the brand a major disservice.

If you’re reading this, I genuinely hope you take a moment to reflect. Your behavior was not only unprofessional, it was completely unacceptable for someone in any customer-facing or leadership role. Based on what I experienced and all the one star reviews, you showed no interest in assisting customers, no accountability, and absolutely no regard for the responsibilities that come with managing a store.
Frankly, your conduct reflects a lack of qualification and readiness for any position of leadership. If you’re not willing to show up with basic respect and professionalism, you have no business representing a brand, let alone managing a team.

The manager is anything but nice and accommodating.
I am a good customer at Alo Yoga and have already bought a lot. Unfortunately, the inscription now burst off on some of the parts, which is extremely annoying and does not speak for the brand at the price. So I went to the Alo store in Boca with the stuff and had to have an unpleasant experience. When I described my problem to an employee, he immediately said that Alo couldn't do anything there, but I should try it at the checkout. The woman at the checkout was surprisingly nice and immediately got the manager, who quickly pulled my mood down again. She said that she couldn't do anything at all and then asked me snappy where I would have bought that top. She insinuated that it was a fake just because she didn't know the color. So unfriendly and no idea about the brand at the same time.
In the end, she dismissed me with the number of the customer service and then turned away evilly. With this brand and the prices, you can expect the employees to solve the problem. Especially since it is the products that seem to be of no use.
It is a pity that this was the reaction and no importance is placed on customer satisfaction.

Despite managing a large team and navigating some incredibly difficult clientele—who often break store policies and then leave harsh, one-sided reviews—Nicole remains consistently kind, calm, and professional. That kind of composure is rare and deeply admirable.
It’s easy for some to complain, but true leadership is about how you show up under pressure, and Nicole shows up every single day with positivity, professionalism, and a genuine care for both her staff and customers. She keeps the store running smoothly while still being approachable and personable. Her energy sets the tone, and it’s clear her team respects and values her.
More people need to recognize the kind of behind-the-scenes dedication it takes to lead a retail store like this, especially in a high-demand, high-expectation location like Boca. Nicole deserves every compliment and more. She’s a standout leader and a shining example of what customer service and management should look like.
