While our agent was very nice throughout the process of selling our home, they forgot to include an upcoming - expensive - assessment that needed to be factored into the negotiation or the contract as the actual assessment was scheduled for after the sale (for future clubhouse renovation). This was a massive oversight. Our real estate lawyer agreed that it needed to be part of the negotiation / contract - and since the agent did not remember to introduce it at that point (she was aware of it), we were stuck with the full assessment of nearly $4000. They were our agents but did not protect our interests; they forgot to advise us when to discuss this with the sellers. We liked our agent and didn't want to totally throw her under the bus, and we were willing to split this expense with Remax, which we thought was fair. They agreed to put in a small amount - which indicated to us an acknowledgement of error. But Remax owner Linda Inella was unpleasant and refused to budge any more, showing no regard for the customer. Remax did not look after our financial interests as the sellers. This experience left us disappointed and with a sour taste in our mouths. We have a second home to sell and there is no way we would use this Remax...
Read moreI had to choose at least "1" star to post this, but I'm really giving the office staff "0" stars. As a professional you DO NOT hang up the phone on someone when they are asking you a question. I believe the lady's name was Shannon. She said it so fast in the beginning and started giving me an attitude from the beginning. All I wanted to know was were was our office's commission check. We were told on 12/27/16 they had it and would mail it the next day. However, we I called to see if they ever mailed it (Shannon) told me should wouldn't mail (didn't want to be responsible for it) and she was waiting to hear from the title co, she was requesting a FedEx label it. Well I talked to them Law Office who handled the closing. They received an email from her requesting a label, as I was on the phone with them. They were very sorry about the issue. Why Shannon felt she needed to be rude an hang up on me...... .I...
Read moreDonna and Steve Savage and "the team" covered every detail of the purchase of our home in a most expedient and professional manner. They were organized and explicit, as we had many questions. This assisted in the negotiating process. As it came to be, the sale of this home was not the only point of challenge, we loved the furniture!! The Savage team was able to assist and guide us in acquiring that too. They knew we were purchasing the house of our dreams, the home where we would enjoy times with our children, grandchildren and families. In the process, we did not ask what to expect next as Donna and Steve were always three steps ahead. Our closing was so smooth, all documents were in order and it was accurately and professionally conducted, overall a pleasurable experience. We look forward to doing business with Donna, Steve and the Savage team...
