All the other Ulta's in this area (coconut point, and pine ridge Rd), have excellent customer service, that the employee's are happy to be there, smiling, are educated on beauty products and professional. Now... Let's review the Ulta at Mercato Mall. For Ulta at Mercato, that is located at one of the highest income area's in the world, you would think you would have the best of the best experience. The last couple of times I have visited in Mercato, Ulta, the customer service are pathetically horrible. The employee's are either standing around playing on there personal phones, don't know what's going on and energy are college students that really don't want to be there. I think it was the manager the last couple of time (didn't get name, middle age blonde in a black suit. Looks like celebrity "Chery Hines), she'll ask you if she can help, thinking you're pathatic, hurries to help you so she can disappear. She makes you feel like you are a waste of her time. Wanted a lipstick from a low cheaper brand that was a "try," display, after a few minutes waiting at a scene of college employee's standing there playing on phones, the person that looked in the back comes back, sorry we don't have it. Than why do you have it on display. A biggest concern I have about that Ulta is but not once but a couple of times, I would ask a employee, a suggestion to a easy/ basic skin issue or a makeup recommendation. I would see them look it up on Google for the answer. What??? No wonder Sephora is ahead of the game. I do have seen that, no disrespect but I have gotten more respect and a better experience from the"Adult," employees. They have actually want to help me, took there time. Went to Mercado/Ulta yesterday, and when is appropriate that your College employees or any job to wear sweatpants to work? Is Is...
Read moreNever in my life have I had a worse experience with any beauty service/retailer. Had an appointment with Dumitra, on New Year’s Eve scheduled for 3pm. I showed up ON TIME, to find she was finishing with another customer. Totally get it, not a big deal. Not only was there zero urgency as she chatted, took photos with, and received gifts from said customer, I did not sit in her chair until 3:17. Almost 20 minutes PAST by appointment time, to then have her tell me there is not enough time for her to do my scheduled service. I had scheduled a non refundable make up appointment following the service, going off of my appointment with Dumitra. Upon speaking to the salon manager, who Dumitra would not allow me to speak to without her standing there and adding in her own version of events (lies) she proceeds to then speak about me 5 feet away to the other stylists which was apparently ok with the salon manager. Was told to call after I finished make up to come have my service done and comped. Only for me to call multiple times, and ignored. So, after paying $100 I had to go home, get in the shower and do my own hair ON NEW YEARS EVE, which ruined my make up.The only remedy I was offered from the store manager the following day was to come in and have the service done. No thanks, and thanks for screwing me on my $100 make up service as well! Save your money & time and go to professionals who respect you...
Read moreHorrible customer service. Took me about 15 min to find an associate. I had to ask a lady from the salon to help me. I came in for a specific eyeshadow pallet by Morphe. Considering Ulta is the only store that carries Morphe I figured they would have more of a selection. I came in for the Jaclyn Hill pallet and was rudely informed that they only sold one pallet by Morphe the new 3502 and all she did was point to the area where it was located. I was then in line with the other products I decided to buy and the cashier was super nice to the lady she was helping before me. The lady then asked about hair tools she could take out of the county and the cashier didn’t know what she was talking about so told her she couldn’t help her. Well me being nice having just gotten back from another county I told her what to look for when buying things like that for out of the county since they have different electric systems. She was super nice and thanked me for my advice. Finally I got to check out with the same cashier and she was extremely rude. Didn’t tell me my points or how the system works for points bc I had just signed up I paid for my things she just shoved my bag at me and said thanks in a rude tone. I will not be going back to this store. The other Ulta location...
