So on Friday 3/21/2025 my husband, myself and our two friends were enjoying the spring stroll. We happened to see this beautiful store, we all decided it would be nice to go in. We get in the store and everything was seemingly fine until we started walking around, looking at each and every one of their products because I’m into spiritual things. My friend (who happens to be white) as showing me different things I’d like and we thought things were fine. However that quickly subsided when my husband realized they were watching us with every move we made. He would pick up a candle and they would look, he would point out crystals I may like and they would be around the corner looking too. It was very obviously racist and unwelcoming there. We ended up leaving the cup and crystals I wanted because we just couldn’t stand supporting a business that made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. We quickly made an exit when more people came in to shop. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a person of color. Please don’t give them your money. Save yourself and go support a black owned business who will be more welcoming and endearing. Edit to add:: they keep removing my friends who were with us that night that can absolutely back...
Read moreI am obsessed with family run stores, unique shops, and artist run businesses. This place is all 3 and it’s the freakin bees knees YALL. There’s space for classes and workshops (and heads up local creators, you can host one if you message em online!) and you can sign up for the workshops hosted by the owners. Of course, there’s plenty to buy — stained glass, photography, prints, witchy terrariums with crystals and butterflies, jewelry, ethically sourced materials, etc etc. You can’t just come in here and browse, you’re going to want to take it all home!!! I’m excited to see how it turns out as the gals settle into their digs and really get going. (I’ve been following them for quite some time online, worked with Kim and her mom and daughter at events, and I can vouch they’re lovely people!) I look forward to hopefully also selling my own wares here. It’s such a good vibe, and I’m so excited!
(And while you’re in town, the owner Kim and her fam-jam can also recommend great cafes and restaurants nearby. So be...
Read moreI have dreamed for years of finding a place that sells not only unique gifts for art-nature-moon-punk rock-hippie loving personalities but to also stock up on supplies for my own healing rituals and season loving observances. Items such as crystals, sage smudges, and intention candles... but also cool social justice themed t-shirts and beautiful handmade jewelry! FINALLY we have Boneyard Boutique!!
I fell in love with the store after my first trip. The owner is an artist and her mother and daughter also create art to sell in the shop. Three generations of females! She filled me in on some workshops that she was hosting and welcomed my 12 year old daughter to join. We attended the Valentine’s Day box of chocolates crafting workshop and had a great time! All the supplies were provided for us and we made several boxes to give loved ones as gifts. I also got my husband the coolest Valentine’s Day card!
We are looking forward to the many workshops she has coming up next month...
