Big Brain Escape — Local services in Bountiful

Summary: my wife and I, who are experienced escape-room connoisseurs, did the Old West-themed room this evening and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend to all!

We missed the window to reserve the room online and called and left a message to still try to get in. The employee quickly returned my call and was very accommodating, letting us sign up anyway and even let us do the room a little later past the usual scheduled time because it was better for our schedule.

The room was challenging but definitely doable. There were a ton of puzzles, some of which were normal/expected but a few that were very clever and unique. We enjoyed them all, especially the gimmick at the beginning where we started out locked in separate "jail cells." The "special effects" in the room were really well done and really enhanced the whole experience. We two alone finished the puzzle/content-filled room with 4 minutes to spare.

The attendant was helpful but not overbearing; he was attentive and assisted us slightly at appropriate times without doing the room for us, etc. The tutorial on the different kinds of locks and the rules at the beginning was really helpful.

Signing the wall at the end was a nice, fun touch. We will probably return soon to do the other room. Highly recommend to both those familiar with escape rooms and also...

We escaped!! From the moment we walked in, the staff at Big Brain Escape Games made us feel welcome and energized for the challenge ahead. The atmosphere is immersive, the rooms are expertly designed, and every puzzle felt like a mini adventure. We did the [insert room name if you want] and were blown away by the creativity and attention to detail—from the storylines to the clever clues and surprises around every corner.

The game master was super helpful (without giving too much away) and really added to the fun. The puzzles were challenging but totally solvable with teamwork, and it felt amazing to beat the clock!

This is hands-down one of the best escape room experiences we’ve had—perfect for groups, team building, or just a great time out. Big Brain Escape Games lives up to its name. Can’t wait to come back and try...

I went with a group that had varying degrees of escape room experience, and we all had a blast! The “stake your claim” was really well designed and we LOVED IT! As soon as we opened the door and entered the room we were sucked into the story! We had a toddler with us that was so confused why everyone was running around and yelling at each other - we REALLY appreciated how kid friendly they were. They were also very thoughtful in the way they had us enter the room so the kiddo was in a certain spot away from a loud sound. The price per person was also very affordable and lower than many others in the area. The puzzles were incredibly unique and creative!...
