When my group went up to stay at Disciples Ridge for a long weekend we were slightly disappointed with our stay. When we arrived to the condo, it was freezing cold inside, 45 degrees exactly. We thought that we just had to turn on the heat (which was weird) so we did and waited to see if it would warm up. It wasn't warming up so we called the customer service desk to let them know. They sent someone out fairly quickly to take a look at it and they pressed some buttons, told us it was all fixed and left. Great! We decided to go out and do some activities for an hour or so and hopefully we would come back to a warm condo. When we came back, it was still 45 degrees and very late at this point (10pm). We called again and they told us they would move us to a different condo. No apology, no sorry for the inconvenience, just "move". We then had to pack up all of our stuff and move to a condo where there was no parking available near it and walk back and forth from our car multiple times at 10pm when there was ice all over the road.
I am just curious how they didn't know the heat wasn't working before we came for our stay? We also didn't appreciate that no one seemed to care that we had to go through all of this trouble after paying thousands of dollars to stay here. I appreciate them being able to move us but it still was very annoying....
Read moreI’d give more stars if it wasn’t for the simple fact that we called to have bedding changed 3 times and even talked to the manager and yet nothing had been done. The staff was rude and didn’t care about safety. We had a sheet dropped off and a comforter after multiple calls.. and was even told by the manager that room service would be out and they never showed. apparently when you get the condo you get what you get, which means limited everything. 12 people stay and not enough towels, coffee, and you can’t even get a dang bed changed. Don’t bother calling and asking cause they...
Read moreThere is so much to be said for being slopeside! I often have lodging upwards of 20 miles away. While that is cheaper, there are many hidden costs. The condo was well maintained and contained everything needed to prepare meals. Eating out a few times in Boyne City, or Petoskey is nice as well. The unit I was in was not directly slopeside so a short trek was required to break out onto the side of Boyneland. Its all downhill from there!! Having stayed now a few times in the same unit its very comfortable, and familiar. Highly recommended!! Enjoy your stay...
