We absolutely love the antique look of this place. I hope they don't ever remodel and upgrade this building. It's such a breath of awe. So many people have said it's run down and needs upgraded. I think the older antique look is what sets this lodge apart from the rest. It's absolutely beautiful. The stay was great. The mountain conquered me on the stay as I had never skied before and couldn't get any advice on which lift and which hill to take so I went down I think they called it Victor. Which was definitely a bad idea bc I spent more time falling and rolling down that hill then actually on my skis. All in all I had a good time tho. Love the atmosphere of the village.

Was initially taken back a bit by how dated it was here but it's got a vintage ski vibe to it that grows on you quickly, and it's closer to the lifts than the main lodge. My two cents? ... If you're going for the Waterpark and have kids, stay in the modern big lodge. If you're going to ski as a grown up, with grown ups, stay at the Boynehof and save some $. Plus the pizza place next to the Hof was excellent.

The Boynehof, while dated, is still very functional accomodations for skiing at Boyne. You can walk to slope. There is pool, sauna and workout room. Giant hot tub after skiing is nice. Yes the Grand Hotel is nice, but I like Boynehof old school lodging!

It was nice! Very clean! The room isn’t much more than a place to lay your head down at night! Which is reflected in the price! Plus if you’re the type that likes to sleep in, there can be quite a bit of noise, the walls seem pretty thin! Sounded like some one was vacuuming the same patch of carpet right in front of our door for a half hour. The staff was very nice however and would great you every time in hallway! The wifi was also very consistent. I’d say the value is there for the price! Just be ready to order out every night unless you’re eating things that don’t need to be heated up! Would definitely stay again for the great price...

We got checked un and the lady behind the desk sent us to the wrong part of the property, behind a gate which she gave us the code to. We were skeptical about that building until we found the place we were actually staying was the Lodge. This place is run down, out dated with a lot of potential. We look around the other properties and are truly disappointed with our accommodations. I don't ever think I could recommend anyone to stay here. The Days Inn we stayed at last night blows this "resort" out of the water. At least at the days inn everything didn't cost an arm and a leg. Spend your...
