Went to Boynton to see some family before they left to head back out of state, and thought I would look up a salon with good reviews that can cut and style my hair before we all went out to eat and spend our last day together. Not having a general idea in mind of a hair style, other then I wanted it shoulder length and my bangs the same length as my hair cut, so I was open to options. I didn't do the online booking because this isn't a salon I visit on a regular basis and not even the town I live in so I had a wait, no big deal. When it was my turn to get my hair done, I explained what I had in mind of shoulder length hair and bangs the length of my hair, and the lady said she thought it would look good at a certain length. I upfront informed her my hair is really thin and it falls out alot! Instead of asking if I wanted to have my hair shampooed or anything, my hair gets sprayed down with a water bottle and she begins cutting my hair. I didn't want to be rude so I kept my mouth shut. Once she was done cutting my hair, I let her know that I would like my hair styled and blown out so my hair would be straightened, as I wanted it to look good for the family. She advised me that to get it blow dried it would be an additional $35. Ok, no problem as long as the blow dry doesn't go over $100 is what I responded with. She then informs me that she doesn't have time to (as she looks at the customers that came in after I did that had checked in at the salon) and she said she was sorry. She said her 12:00 appointment had canceled and she couldn't do it, then went and rang someone out that just got their hair cut by someone else. Came back over to me semi blow dried my hair to get the wetness out (what she said) and took the Cape off and I guess I was done and asked me if it felt better. Didn't put not one product in my hair, didn't recommend any products for me to use, since I did explain my hair issues..nothing! Yes, my children were there with me, so I was already stressed out then fixing to tell my family bye after I got done with the salon, it was alot. I just wanted to feel pretty and finally do something for me for a change. But no, I was rushed at every level and wasn't offered anything for my hair. My children even heard her tell me that she didn't have time to blow dry my hair, and they were shocked (according to what they told me.) I have never been treated so poorly at a salon before. This was my first time there and will be my last time there. The sad thing is, I had money to spend there too. I was going in with the expectations of getting my hair done, looking and feeling pretty, and buying recommended products, but no, none of that happened. I left feeling worse then when I walked in. Guess I can add in that when I asked for keeping my bangs the same length as my hair was too much to ask for too. Now my bangs are nose level if that, instead of being longer like it was (at least chin level.) I wish the DM was still there when all this was going on because I would have loved to talk to her about my experience, and how I wasn't treated fairly and how rushed I was. Being that the DM advised her in the backroom they went up 2 points from a 88 to a 90, yes I heard that conversation between the hair stylist too once the DM left. Horrible experience and very disappointed! I even left her a tip, even though my heart was telling me otherwise and not a tip I normally give but I still tipped her a few dollars for a $14 haircut. So, I'm still looking for a regular salon that I can trust and have a good experience with that I can also have my kids hair cuts at, if anyone can recommend a good salon. Willing to drive from...

Read moreOwner and staff are great! I had never been to this location and was welcomed by all the staff and the owner. My 8 year old son was needing a haircut and we had the pleasure of getting Shannon. She was great with my son and I was able to show her the picture he picked for his haircut and she delivered. He did not want to go get his haircut that day and when she was done he jumped out of the chair and said "I love it!" The owner was very friendly and was super nice to all of the customers that came in. He even let me know about the online check in feature and provided a coupon for $2 off if I checked in for the next visit. I like that it's not a full service salon and they only do haircuts, shampoo, blow dry and style. This makes it easier to get in and out without an appointment. I'll definitely be going back not only for my son...
