I can't help but express my sincere appreciation for the experience I had at Orion Fresh Mediterranean in Boynton Beach. Beyond the delicious food, what truly sets this place apart is the people — especially Jerry, Tanzin, and Stefani.
I first met Jerry at the Boca location when I visited with some friends. I still remember how friendly, kind, and welcoming he was — so much so that we even took a photo together before we left. Seeing him again here in Boynton, and finding out that he's now the manager of the store, genuinely made me happy. It's always great to see hardworking, deserving people grow, especially when they continue to treat every customer with the same warmth and respect.
Together with Tanzin, they make an amazing team. Their chemistry and teamwork are obvious — Jerry is organized, calm, and fast, while Tanzin is energetic, personable, and creative. They complement each other naturally and create an experience that feels smooth, efficient, and full of positive energy.
At the register, Stefani greeted me with a smile and kindness, rounding off the whole visit with a warm and friendly farewell.
A big thank you to Jerry, Tanzin, and Stefani for making this such a great experience. The store truly has a soul — and that’s thanks to the people who run it. Jerry, congratulations on your role as manager — you truly deserve it!
I'll definitely be back, and I’ll recommend this place to everyone I...
Read moreI was really looking forward to trying Orion Fresh Mediterranean, but my experience was disappointing on multiple levels.
From the moment I entered, I was asked if I was there to pick up an order, which felt a bit rushed. Soon after, I overheard a comment in Hindi/Punjabi – “Khate peete ghar ka desi” – which translates to calling someone a “fat guy from an asian family.” This was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional.
While eating, a staff member began sweeping the floor right next to my table, even though there were still 30 minutes until closing. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, leading me to pack up my meal and leave earlier than planned and who wants dust and anything from the floor on their food being swept on.
As someone who was born and brought up in the Middle East and lived there for over 20 years, and reviews restaurants frequently (with over a million views on Google), I found the food to be very average compared to authentic Mediterranean cuisine. The meatballs were the highlight tender and flavorful but the chicken was overly salty, and the rice lacked seasoning.
Overall, the experience fell short both in terms of hospitality and food quality. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively to improve service and...
Read moreThe first time we visited the food was really good (hence the 2 stars), we had the braised lamb bowl and everything was perfectly seasoned. Now for the 1 star part...A few weeks ago when we visited, the lamb was extremely tangy, wayyyy to bitter to actually enjoy and my food was not fresh tasting, I feel like the food had likely been out there for hours. I threw most of my 18 dollar meal away! Don't know what happened but that terrible lamb, coupled with the guy who makes the bowls attitude, we haven't been back. We've gone down the street to Anzo and havent had a problem since! Theres wayyy too much competition nearby for them to not take what they do seriously in this establishment. Also, everytime we've gone to this Orion location, they never had any other customers, its a complete ghost town when they're located in a prime spot. I don't see them lasting very long if they don't improve the food served and experience. The store could use some TLC as well, it looks unfinished and untidy. Hope you take this as constructive criticism and do better, I would love to see healthy food places flourish over fast food places thar are killing us and causing...
