Today I went to Walgreens to buy a few things for myself. I have what you call a care credit card not something from my insurance that gives me a pacific balance every month every year so forth have a credit card that has $10,000 on it I used it the night before and I made it very clear and also called my care credit card the day before and with Care credit you can buy anything at Walgreens unless itâs lotto gift cards so forth like that. my transaction declined I wasnât sure why also, my phone was dead. I thought maybe I read about being able to buy anything at So I put some things back and make sure I only bought stuff I knew my insurance would approve of still transaction declined the manager that was on shift said maâam how much money do you have on this card? I said I have $10,000 on this card, she said thatâs not possible rudely and embarrass me in front of a group of people. Says you need to call your car and find out my phone was dead. I walked out of the store plugged my phone up in my car and automatically I got a text from CareCredit just making sure that it wasnât fraudulent charges and that if I answered it with me they would approve the charge. I didnât even bother walking back in the Walgreens. I had already been embarrassed by then. Before you go, judging somebody or trying to tell somebody what kind of money they have on their card you should probably be kind to the person first and help them out But instead, you were rude treating me like garbage and told me to go figure it out myself. Iâm a general manager for a restaurant. Iâve managed my whole entire life in the service industry. I would never try to Customer that way sorry maâam but maybe youâre in the wrong industry or maybe you shouldnât judge a book by its cover. Just because I looked scrubby today didnât mean I was a nobody I donât have to dress up every day of my life. And you know itâs funny the Walgreens I went to the night before was rude as well. I went to the one on military. She was upset because my ID wouldnât scan and said wow because your ID wonât scan. I now have to enter it in manually and that Takes time she even told the customer behind me. Youâre gonna be waiting a while because this takes a while. Her ID doesnât scan come on Walgreens who are we hiring? Letâs two encounters in two days with a Walgreens...
Read moreThis pharmacy does not deserve one star. The lack of professionalism, care, and customer service is abhorrent. I waited in line for 40 minutes to take a COVID test, which is understandable considering everyone is in need of a test. While I was taking my test, the pharmacy technician let me know that they had COVID tests available for purchase. I asked if I could purchase one test and she said I had to purchase it online or go in the store. Two problems: on the Walgreens app you cannot purchase a COVID test. You have to literally go inside to purchase one right now. The second problem, I know I am COVID positive. I informed the pharmacy technician of both problems (I check the Walgreens app every day for COVID tests to purchase online) and she said she couldnât sell it to me. She actually insisted on me coming inside the store to purchase a test. The Pharmacy Operations Manager came over to speak with me and wasted five minutes explaining how they do not have time to get me a COVID test to sell it to me and again made clear that I could come in (COVID positive) to purchase the test. I believe her name is Kate. Rude, arrogant, abrasive. I canât believe a medical professional insisted I come into a store knowing I had the symptoms. The pharmacy technician laughed while Kate explained her backwards logic to me. They were not pleased that I challenged their stupid, dangerous thought process because I never received the results of my COVID test. I did not go into the store because I do not want to spread COVID to anyone, which is why I feel inclined to leave a review. Save yourself the frustration and donât go there. They donât care about your health. They donât care about the publics health and well being. After reading othersâ reviews of this Walgreens itâs clear this is not an isolated incidence of incompetence. I hope no one treats their loved ones the way they...
Read moreThis pharmacy is rude and incompetent. I went through the drive thru to drop off a prescription. The pharmacy tech ignored me and took 3 other cars without acknowledging me. When I buzzed to get assistance they were rude and then said there other cars in front of you. I said no, âthat is incorrect, I was here before the other carsâ. I did not yell nor was I rude but spoke matter of factly. She said , âI will tell the techâ. The tech finally came on and when I said I was dropping off a prescription, he said âokayâ and hung up and went to another customer. He never checked back in with me. At this point I had been waiting 15-20 minutes. When I went to pick up the prescription it had not been filled and they said they didnât know what to do with it âsince I drove offâ. Again, NO ONE CAME TO ASSIST ME and the tech said âokayâ so I assumed that was all that was needed. If someone drops off a prescription paper- this means fill the prescription. I strongly believe this was done on purpose since I buzzed and asked for help after being ignored after other cars pulled thru and got serviced. I did not yell or nor was I mean when I dropped off my prescription. I understand working with the public can be stressful and difficult but the lack of customer service and professionalism in this pharmacy is ridiculous! I will find a local pharmacy and...
