I've been coming here on and off for a few months now and had always had an enjoyable time until my last few visits. I started coming to have a place to work on my laptop and study and have always purchased food and/or coffee while I'm there. I became friendly with one of the girls who worked there and she even mentioned they were hiring and offered to have me fill out an application (I did not end up applying as I had another job opportunity at the time). She was always friendly up until the last few times I came in. The first weird experience was when I went up to the counter to order water and a juice. Before I could order the juice she told me that I needed to purchase something to be here. I said "Ok, no problem... I was planning to order a juice." She told me they no longer have their fresh pressed juice so I offered to buy a bottle of water instead of their free tap water and then went back to studying. Since then I've been back and have ordered both food and coffee. Today I decided to go back to study because the library is closed for a holiday. When I walked in I saw the same girl, this time she did not smile back nor was she friendly in any way. I sat at a table and was finishing some emails and a phone call before I was going to go up to order a coffee to study and one of the employees comes up and asks if I wanted to order anything from her or if I wanted to order at the counter. I told her I'm just finishing up a few things and then I'll go to the counter to order and thanked her. About 15min later I'm finishing up my last call and the girl comes back over... I tell her one moment while I try to get off the phone and then the same girl who had asked me about an application previously came up and started yelling at me that I need to leave and that I cannot sit here for 45min before I order (hadn't even been there for 30 min). Before I could even respond or get off the phone she continued to raise her voice at me and rudely tell me I cannot sit here for free. I simply responded "Ok." and left. I am honestly so disappointed at the lack of professionalism with this employee and the owners here after I've purchased multiple times from them. I understand and respect having a policy that you must purchase something to use the space but demanding that I order right away and yelling at me for not doing so is beyond disrespectful especially when I have followed the policy every time previously. At least have the professionalism and maturity to respectfully communicate with customers if they are not following your policy. That is not how you treat customers and I will not be coming back nor recommending this place ever again. I've seen multiple other reviews of people mentioning the same thing, and being confused whether this is a cafe or not because of strange laptop and wifi rules. Pick a business model and stick to it, or at least learn how to properly and NICELY communicate your company policies to people who come in to support your business. Glad I never applied and glad I didn't order immediately when I walked in this last time. Hope the rude girl has a better day tomorrow so she doesn't have to ruin someone...

Nestled in the back of a small strip mall in Boynton Beach is the ever charming Bond Street which has a consistently creative set of offerings that change regularly. The one constant is the quality at a very reasonable price. While the space is large and airy, there is a undeniable quaintness here. With the smell and allure of fresh baked goods, screaming “eat me” as soon as you walk in. Greeted by an supremely friend staff this visit, I began to barrage her with a host of questions about many of the specials. It was the toss of a coin as to what to get as they all looked so appetizing. I opted for a pair of the sushi tacos (thinking they would be small) and the Chicarron plate pictured here. To my surprise, the tacos were massive! Surely a meal in of itself, but I took the challenge. With a mock shell in the form of a fried seaweed wrapped, one with ahi tuna and the other a piece of fried cod, both were quite tasty and certainly filling. I would have like to have seen some more raw options as most had some piece of fried fish or seafood as a main part of the taco. The perfectly crispy, tender and surprisingly not overly fatty piece of pork belly was swimming on a lovely plate of fresh verde as you can see. Topped with some lovely micro greens it would be a keto love fest for some. I typically like a bit of sweeter sauce to accompany my fried pork chunks, but this was quite delicious in its own right. I gotta get back for some breakfast and lunch as they have some fantastic options during those...

I come to this cafe all the time during the day on my days off to have lunch or coffee and everything is always delicious. Recently I’ve been studying for an exam at work and I pulled up today with one single guest in the entire building. (Found out later it was one of the workers family members) Walk up to the counter to buy a coffee and a pastry while I spent an hour or two studying there since it’s usually very quiet during the week. I was told “no large electronic devices” are to be used after 5 pm. What an absolute joke. Coming from someone who works in food and beverage that’s the most ridiculous thing I have heard in years. The building is huge and there’s plenty of space for an electronic area if it’s not available in the entire restaurant. I come to look at the reviews to see if anyone else felt the same and I had to laugh to see the owners SHITTY responses to anyone that had something negative to say. Maybe she should take a customer relations class because she clearly has no clue how to handle responses without having an absolute dumpster fire of an attitude. Your cafe is barely 1/6 filled half the time I’m in there and yes most people go to cafes to study and grab a small bite lmao. This was the most insane experience I’ve had in a while. I never leave reviews, but the owner should be embarrassed. One of the workers daughters sat at the bar on her laptop, but I basically was kicked out of the store and they lost a sale because I wasn’t allowed to use mine. Insane. Will...

Well, it would have received a 3, except the young lady taking my order was a bit rude. I felt she was almost bothered taking my order. Maybe a bad day. Anyway, we ordered 2 breakfast specials or whatever they choose to call 2 eggs, a croissant and some bread. Coffee served in glasses instead of coffee mugs. Is that a thing now? Not sure if they were free refills but don't expect someone to ask. While ordering, I wasn't told they were out of orange juice that was supposed to be included No alternative was offered until I expressed my disappointment in not getting OJ. You order at the counter and pay, then they bring it over and forget about ya. Why not? When you tip up front when paying on card, what's the incentive to provide good service. Guess my 20% up front tip was low? Actually, it was way too high for the service provided. Still, I didn't hate the place. Just the decor seemed better than the eating experience. It was a strange place that seems to not know what it wants to be, a bar, a bakery, a breakfast and lunch place? Not sure if it's worth returning or not. The croissants were good but the eggs were bland and nothing else stood out.

This is a very unique place. It’s big and cavernous space and is oddly quiet despite the Muzak and constant baking/cooking in the background. An interesting eclectic mix of premium baked goods and exquisite breakfast and lunch dishes. We love the baked goods and usually order stuff for our office so everyone can enjoy. The quiches are spectacular...moist, rich and bursting with flavor. The breakfast dishes are absolutely delightful. My favorite by far is the avocado toast with the perfectly scrambled egg atop of beautifully sliced avocado atop of the best piece of toasted bread I have experienced in my life. The bread in this place truly elevates all the dishes! It is a bakery so no table service and the staff here is a bit flippant, if not standoffish. Despite that, the quality and taste of their food more than makes up for the lack of warmth from the staff. I’ve simply accepted they are European and just not friendly...😂 This is place is a must visit if you're in the Palm Beach county area....
