TL:DR = Absolutely awful. Nice waitress but owner IS EXTREMELY RUDE. Was denied service after drinks and appetizers were already ordered. If you have a group of 6+ or want to be treated decently, go somewhere else. Wish there was signage up that he doesn't serve larger parties, since we were forced to pay for our drinks and appetizer then leave due to our group size. Awful service from the owner (waitress was great, not her fault). Even though you may not be a party of 6+, IF HE MESSES YOUR ORDER UP, DON'T EXPECT A REFUND. Read his ACTUAL replies to other reviews and you'll understand quickly why the customer service is awful. Main review: Walked in and sat down as a group of 6 (no signage posted around the restaurant or anything spoken from the waitress about the new group size limit when we walked in). Was welcomed by the waitress, who gave us time to look over the menu and decide what we may want. We ordered green teas and edamame while we look at the menu options. Some time goes by and the waitress takes our order and places it. Less than 5 minutes later, the owner/chef stormed out of the kitchen, marched over to our table, slammed our order down infront of us, exclaimed "I'm not serving 6!", and stomped away without any other explanation. We were puzzled since what's the difference between an order of 6 and 2 seperate orders of 3? We were completely fine with the wait if we had to do 2 orders. After the sudden rudeness, we were forced to pay for the drinks and appetizer then leave. I've gone to similar ramen restaurants with groups of friends and have never seen such rudeness. Wish the establishment had signage up so we wouldn't have this experience in the first place. We went in expecting great things and was quickly let down. Glad the owner is losing customers for his rudeness and idiotic "5 person per group limit". Absolutely shameful to be rude to the customers who pay your living. PLEASE AVOID this place. Just get instant ramen and make a night out of experimenting with recipes online, it'll be more to your liking and you don't have to deal with THE OWNER. Post script: We chose this restaurant because we've heard good things about it from the surrounding area. It was a family celebration event for us so, we wanted to enjoy some nice ramen. Post-Post Script: If you order to-go and you're vegetarian, be careful of animal broth in your ramen. Some reviews state he has gotten their order wrong and refuses to address his mistakes. Don't expect good customer service. IF HE MESSES UP YOUR ORDER, DON'T EXPECT A REFUND. Note to owner: Please put up signage or inform your waitress of your new "5 person per group limit". RUDENESS NEVER KEEPS/BRINGS IN CUSTOMERS.

I recently visited Tokio ramen restaurant in Boynton Beach and was blown away by the quality of the food. The ramen was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of chewiness in the noodles. One of the standout dishes was the tonkotsu tokio ramen, which had a rich broth that was absolutely delicious. The restaurant also offered a variety of toppings to add to the ramen, including pork belly, egg, and green onion, which really added to the overall flavor of the dish. The nabeyaki udon noodles were amazing as well, only negative is the shrimp is fried and became soggy in the broth. But thats my fault for not eating it quickly. In terms of value, the ramen was incredibly cheap and definitely worth every penny. The restaurant itself was also very clean and well-maintained, with friendly and attentive staff. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant in Boynton Beach for anyone looking for a delicious and affordable meal.

I really enjoyed my dinner date here. I came in on a Sunday at 6PM with my boyfriend. It was a bit packed in the center / back of the restaurant so we sat right in the front of the restaurant which was a view around the plaza very standard. We were served immediately our drinks which we knew we wanted sake ๐Ÿถ and water ๐Ÿ’ง. The cool and unique thing about the sake is they are individual cups for about $7 and it tasted pretty good. We started with the pork gyoza ๐ŸฅŸ which was nicely fried, my bf wanted to try the Katsu Don which was breaded pork topped with a fried egg and rice and some sweet sauce and that was surprisingly good. He tried the spicy miso ramen with added pork slices. I had the tonkotsu Tokio ramen ๐Ÿœ with garlic, corn,Naruto , and an egg ๐Ÿฅš. The noodles and veggies were so fresh. Everything was just perfect in my opinion to the point that my boyfriend is coming back this week for sure lol ๐Ÿ˜‚ overall another true hidden gem ๐Ÿ’Ž

I went to lunch with a friend because we wanted Ramen. We were greeted briefly and the lady ran to answer the phone (didn't see her until after we paid the check) . Six minutes later a young guy asked us for our drink order and then he disappeared. Ten minutes later he comes back with our drinks and takes our order. There is something in the air of the establishment that causes some irritation to our eyes. They are slightly red and drying out. Twenty minutes go by and we are still waiting for our two bowls of Ramen. During this time three customers come in for their carryout orders and two men came in, sat down and had their drink and food brought to the table and were eating in ten minutes. We finally get the attention of the guy and he says there was a mix up on our order and it's coming. He got sassy with my friend when she told him how long we had been waiting and she checked him and his attitude. We had to wait an additional fifteen minutes before our Ramen was brought to the table. At this point our eyes were getting progressively worse due to the unseen smoke from the grill. The Ramen was good (IKKYU Ramen in Boca Raton is wayyyy better). When we left the restaurant we smelled like we had taken a bath in stale cooking grease. It's a smell that makes you sick to your stomach and you want to burn your clothes. We will never eat at this...

I was EXTREMELY disappointed by this place. After reading so many good reviews I was really excited to try this place, especially after seeing how good the prices were. For one, the portions are extremely small making it kind of overpriced. I ordered the tonkotsu broth ramen and it wasn't even actual tonkotsu broth or tasted anything like the real thing. The noodles were very undercooked and all clumped up and hard in the middle. They also tasted like very cheap noodles like the ones you get in those 25ยข ramen packets. The bamboo shoots they use are canned and have a very strong metallic taste to them. My boyfriend ordered the katsudon which was much better than the ramen but still pretty small portion and the pork was very tough. It was also completely drenched in sauce. The service was also horrible, the server was very rude and her and the other server were talking very loudly the entire time and were ignoring other customers for their conversation. Definitely would not recommend this place there are way better ramen places with higher quality food, bigger portions, and for only a few...
