I called and placed an order for pick up once arriving to the store the doors were locked at around 6:30 So I had to knock while knocking customers and employees become annoyed of my constant knocking for about 5min then an employee opens the door with a little aggression as if I aggravated him with trying to pick up my order, he tells me that the doors are locked because they ran out of bread I said OK no problem I’m here for my order for two wraps that I placed an order for over the phone the employee then states that they did not make the order because the phone got disconnected which was not the case at all because he confirmed the order with me before we ended the call. While speaking with this employee he asked if I still would like for him to make my order before I could answer another decided to take it upon herself to join the conversation with the employee and I to gang up on me to prove what, I’m not sure. So I asked her could she please not enter the conversation that she was not invited into the conversation was between two gentlemen she then proceeds to raise her voice and says that she is management so I have to speak to her or I have leave the establishment which made no sense to me so I decided the best thing for me to do is leave the establishment and take my business elsewhere due to the fact that management should not speak to customers or employees with such tone so moral of the story I waisted my time by driving 15min to tsunami to be looked down upon and told that a order I placed over the phone was not taken care of thanks again for...
Read moreOn the recommendation of another, we tried this sub shop for the 1st time last Friday. Upon arriving about an hour and half before closing, the lead gentleman barely acknowledged us and when we jokingly said we had a "big order", his demeanor dropped even lower (if possible). It was almost as if we were imposing on his time and when we said we only needed a couple subs, he simply said "what do you want?". Wow- so glad we came into HIS shop, to pay HIM money, for subs that aren't on the low cost side (I'm fine with if justified), and WE get an attitude. Asking to switch cheese came with another grunt and when asking to cut the sandwiches in 1/2 and 1/2 again (1/4's), we were advised very curtly "sandwiches are cut in 1/4's". Quite obvious he didn't like switching out meats and cheese to slice because of the efforts required. Hint here, YOU work in a sub shop! Subs were very good or the rating would be a 1 star. If you don't mind a lead associate (manager, or owner - hope it wasn't) being direct, impersonal, and sprinkled with an attitude this is your place. For us- this was a 1 and...
Read moreBeen coming here since they opened, was here when they used Thumanns, Dietz and now Boars Head with their latest revamp, each time retaining title of my favorite sub shop in the area, but today (9/8/22) they had a bunch of really poorly trained new kids that made the worst sandwich I ever got here. Bread was badly misshapen and looked like a traffic cone on one end, barely got any meat on the sandwich not just on that side of the bread but also on the other side where there was more bread than anything else. They couldn’t even wrap the thing correctly so it basically fell apart in the car and leaked oil and vinegar. Tomatoes looked pale as a ghost despite it being peak tomato season. All this and it still took 4x longer than ive ever waited here despite only being one of two customers. I really hope this isnt an indication the usual crew behind the counter is gone, cause if it is, youre WAY better off just going to a Jersey Mike’s cause these new people really...
