I recently had the displeasure of purchasing a dryer from Johnny's Appliance in Four Corners, and I must say that the experience has left me utterly frustrated and regretful. Not only did the appliance fail to function right out of the box, but the subsequent customer service I received was nothing short of abysmal. After discovering the faulty dryer on Saturday, I promptly contacted the store on Monday, hoping to find a solution to the problem. However, instead of being met with a helpful and accommodating attitude, I was met with indifference and excuses. The store's representative callously informed me that there was nothing they could do for me except put it on their schedule for an eventual repair. To add insult to injury, they also informed me that I would have to contact the warranty technician myself. Attempting to resolve the issue, I diligently called Johnny's Appliance twice again on Tuesday, desperately seeking assistance. Much to my dismay, my calls were blatantly ignored, with no effort made to return them. It is simply unacceptable for a business to disregard their customers' inquiries, especially when they have purchased a faulty product from them. To exacerbate matters, when I inquired about any potential alternatives or compensations, I was met with an outright refusal to take responsibility. The store callously stated that once the sale was made, they washed their hands of any further obligations. This complete lack of accountability is both disheartening and infuriating. It is appalling to witness such a callous disregard for customer satisfaction, particularly in a small, locally-owned establishment. I initially chose to support Johnny's Appliance in an effort to contribute to the success of a mom and pop shop. However, based on this woeful experience, I can confidently say that the level of service provided by this store is a far cry from what one would expect, even from larger chain stores. If this is the extent of the service one can expect from Johnny's Appliance, then it is clear that they have failed miserably in their duty to their customers. In conclusion, I urge potential buyers to steer clear of Johnny's Appliance in Four Corners. Save yourself the hassle, frustration, and disappointment that I have endured. Instead, opt for the more reliable service and accountability offered by big box shops. It is a regrettable realization that in today's world, even small businesses are failing to deliver the level of customer care necessary to build trust...
Read moreI'm sort of torn on what to rate here....so I'll kind of spell it out. I think that they offer a good option for people who don't have the money to purchase brand new appliances: you get cleaned up used appliances that come with a warranty for thirty days, and an additional ninety day warranty stating that they'll come fix it if it takes a dump.
The problem? Service. They offer no delivery. My husband has a bad back (recently slipped disc), and since they are small we did understand about the lack of delivery. No problem for us. The lady at the center asked if my husband had work friends to help us out, but he is brand new AND this places hours are 8-5 Monday through Friday. So how is one to get their work friends, who work 8-5 Monday through Friday to help load or unload? I cannot understand not having at least ONE day a week where you jog your hours so people can do after work pickups. Obviously not an option.
So we DID figure out a way to get a washer and dryer off of our truck once we were home, but we would just need help getting it onto the truck. I called them up; no such luck. They won't even help you load it ONTO your vehicle. Seriously? Every single time I have gone there there is more than one younger, strong looking man walking around. How on earth do you get these appliances into your showroom? I couldn't believe that. I'm sorry, but you're an appliance center. I wanted to spend 600 dollars, at least. Instead, my business went to Lowe's. I'd much rather support the little guys, but if you can't throw me a bone when I'm going out of my way, I can't throw you one.
Also, a few times I called during business hours their 'after hours' message picked up AND one time I walked into the storefront and there was no bell to ring for service, no signs or sounds of anyone. I walked around and made some noise, and after five minutes I walked out. What the heck.
So....an 'okay' rating for their selection and the available option....not a star more because we basically couldn't get any service...
Read more"Vicki" needs a lesson in how to take care of customers and explain their "company's policies". My advice is to NOT do business with this outfit. When they started here in Billings, it looked to be a viable company, but just since the last 6 months, things have taken a turn for the worst. I doubt they'll be around much longer. I took a laundry pair in to be fixed, only to find that for them to loosen 2 screws and look inside costs $79.00. "Vicki" insisted she needed to record my Discover Card # and expiration date before going any further, even though she knew my name and I had already purchased several used appliances before (and always paid by check with no problems before this. I told her I was uncomfortable having to do this but she insisted it was her bosses' new policy. Told her I 'd do it "under protest" but would also be checking with my lawyer on this, then she called me the next morning telling me the washer needed a new transmission and that it wasn't worth fixing, but that I still owed her $79. just because they "looked at it". They basically stole my used appliances and now have my Discover Card # and expiration date. She has lied to me and I'm never going back inside this place again (unless to serve them court papers). DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I am going to talk with my lawyer about the Discover Card...
