This store is just like any Target, I suppose. Their plus size clothing selection is in the toilet though. They have a whole little plus size section (the typical 1/4 of the size of the regular women's section), and I believe it's monopolized by a single brand--Ava & Viv or something. The clothing sucks. It's absolutely hideous. Every time I go over there I'm horrified at what they're displaying on the mannequin, as if it's socially acceptable to be wearing THAT (whatever "that" may be because it's NEVER good). A sweater covered in pom-poms? Seriously? Horrible choices in cuts and colors and fits. They're just awful. The only thing I've ever been able to find acceptable in that section are basic two long sleeve shirts and a few plain white tanks that I wear under them. That's it. They try to do this "professional working woman" style most of the time and it DOES NOT WORK. They need to get a new brand in there. And not every plus size woman wants to always look like she's working in an office! Highly disappointing.
My other complaint is about this store specifically. They ALWAYS have carts everywhere and employees stocking shelves. We only go to Bozeman on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS STOCKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY?? I used to work at Target in my home town doing overnight stocking. THAT is when it is supposed to be done so you're not inconveniencing the customers. I let it pass for the holiday season--I know it's always crazy then. But it's all year at this store, every time we go. Carts blocking everywhere. Employees trying to stock where you're trying to shop. From when I asked politely the locations of product the staff would answer with sarcasm, and even when I checked out the cashier was rushing me off to grab my items so I can hurry along. Also, nonstop throughout my shopping experience, I continuously was being watched & profiled as if I was some sort of person who steals. It was soooooooooooo obvious & I mean NONSTOP, aisle by aisle, looking at me, looking briefly at my basket, just very uncomfortable. However, regardless of my experience the store overall I must say it’s well kept. They have stock if you’re looking for something, it’s organized, clean, the conditions are great. The only thing I would suggest is they HAVE to do better with the hair line products for people whom have “textured hair,” and that section alone was surprisingly small. I’ve been to PLENTY of Targets in various states, and it’s insane how terrible & tiny that section is. According to my map Bozeman has only 1 Target, and you’re literally in the middle of nowhere (not to mention 1 Wholefoods Market in all of the state that was just opened February 2023🤯).    Read moreI shop at target frequently. They typically have what I'm looking for and my experience is fine. Last night was much different. I asked multiple employees for help finding a pair of headphones that showed they were in stock on the app. The lady in electronics didnt even offer to look them up, she just said the inventory was off and oh well. So I went to customer service, and the young gentleman running carside pickup was the only one who tried to help me. The young lady by the name of Ava interrupted me while I asked about the headphones and then gave me rude looks while I waited for her to finish talking to her coworker about personal matters. She then told me the lady in electronics should have looked it up for me and brushed me off. When I mentioned ordering online and doing 2 hour pickup, she interrupted again and told me that was a waste because no one was going to look for them. I understand its hard to find quality employees, but Ava should not be in customer service. She is rude, not helpful and refusing to do the basics of her job.
