Bridge St — Local services in Brandenton Beach

This is a famous and very nice shopping and dining location in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria island. A great choice of restaurants popular with locals and visitors alike. Good for strolling. There is an easy access to a l9ng fishing pier where you can see pelicans and many fish in the water. There are also occasional boat tours that deprt from that pier, but the pier is not busy or crowded. I highly recommend visiting the area in the evening when it becomes vibrant with good music streaming from the restaurants. There are also good streat musitians playing here and there. One problem though is finding free street parking but there is a paid parking lot available, too. I'd recommend taking a local buss or trolley (so called Minkey Bus) especially if you plan on drinking. Busses are free while trolley drivers appreciate a small tip.
