So he spent tine with me ; going over all the good, so called great, and a few from his current client base. He Refurburshed , machines he sells to clients and when they move , or want to upgrade , or down grade ... Ir down... all the semi used ones himself...bottom line . I got an Amazing Janome Sewing machine , for less than 1/2 of a brand new high end Janome , and 1- less expensive than i was going to buy new obe, of much lesser Quality .I Had a small issue with it today, he fixed on the spot . Stopped by Branford Sew & Vacuum Co. on North Main Street (Route 1) after my vacuum, which was only a few years old, completely stopped working. I tried to clear a suspected clog myself, but nothing seemed to work.

The owner was incredibly helpful and told me to bring it in so he could take a look. Just two days later, it was fixed! It turns out that small bits of stuffing from my dog's toys had accumulated over time and created a clog deep inside the hose where I couldn't reach.

I called this morning expecting to be told to look online for a very old sewing machine part and on the phone, Ralph, the owner, obviously knew everything that I asked and I was so amazed to learn that he has the exceptional expertise to repair the 1951 Singer sewing machine that belonged to my mother!
