Five Guys — Restaurant in Branford

Today was a big dissapointment.. ORDERED TWO BURGERS , MY WIFE'S WAS SUPPOSED TO BE LETTUCE, TOMATO , RAW ONION AND MAYO.. THERE WAS NO LETTUCE OR TOMATO, IT DID HAVE JALAPEÑO PEPPERS WHICH WERE ORDERED ON MY LARGE BURGER. DEFINITLY NOT HER SMALLER BURGER. SHE BIT INTO THAT JALAPEÑO LADEN SANDWICH AND CHOKED AND HAD TO GET SALT TO RELIEVE THE PAIN IN MOUTH AND LIPS. THE BFD STORE LOOKED TO BE UNDERSTAFFED AS THE PERSON WHO TOOK MY ORDER ( SCREWED UP) THEN THAT SAME ORDER TAKER PUT THE MEAT ON THE GRILL.. MY WIFE LOST HER APPETITE , WE LEFT WITHOUT COMPLAINING.. I USUALLY DON'T WRITE LETTERS, BUT THIS SOLICITATION BY YOU FOR A RATING , PROMTED THIS RESPONSE.. DOUBT IF WE WILL BE BACK ANY TIME...

I visited 5 Guys in Branford on RT. 1. The restaurant is clean and ordering was quick and easy as usual. I was surprised to hear that my cheeseburger and regar fries and drink order was going to be over $16! Although the burgers are good and fries are cooked well, I felt the value was very off. The burgers seem smaller these days and the regular fries cup is smaller. Although they always give you more fries on top of your order, everything is downsized these days. I certainly won't be visiting 5 Guys in the future as the price has gone up and the portions have gone down. Possibly a more fair price for what you get might earn my...

Awesome food!!! Awesome staff!! ALWAYS friendly & very helpful. Very pleasant experience every time we go. You will NEVER leave there hungry!!! A bit high priced for hamburgers , but EVERY ONE IS A DOUBLE!!! Unless you request a single. AND....THE FRIES....TO DIE FOR!!! A large is less than $3 , and comes in a medium size paper bag , and the bag is about HALF FILLED WITH FRIES!!! They're done to PERFECTION , too!!!. Believe me , I normally HATE fries...Five Guys fries are the ONLY , I MEAN ONLY , ones I will eat!!! OH!! Did I mention you have a choice of about 10-12 different items you can add to your burgers?? FOR FREE....
