apologize for the long rant. I never leave reviews but this experience left me HEATED
I recently used the Burger King app to order a delivery from Branford's BK. The delivery came super quickly, it was an easy process and I planned on using the service multiple times, until I opened the stapled/sealed bag and realized half of the order placed was missing. My coworker and I placed an order consisting of three sides and deluxe sandwich, a drink; there was no sandwich and one of the sides was missing. I know the driver was not at fault because once again the bag was SEALED. I called the Branford store to which the employee asked my order number and what was missing. I explained to her that the bag was sealed and the items were missing. She then went on to say that the manager of the store made my order and that she said the sandwich and missing side was in fact in the bag. She was not sympathetic at all. I explained to her again that the item was never packaged and even said I would be willing to drive to the store to receive a refund, show her the bag, possibly receive a replacement sandwich? She said she would not do that because the manager said the food was placed in the bag. She said I was more than welcome to come to the store to see that the sandwich was not there ( insinuating that it had to be with me then?). I continued to ask her what to do next then as we had spent about $20.00 and received half of the food. Mid sentence she said, "have a good day ma'am" and hung up on me. Needless to say, I contacted the BK customer service through the app and they refunded my whole order which was extremely appreciated. I did not ask for an entire refund, we would have been fine with a replacement sandwich and side. Read moreI never go to burger king. I really don't care for their food, but my 7 year old is going through a bk phase. Usually for mozzarella sticks, which he stopped getting when he noticed how much smaller they've gotten. That morning we were moving and they asked for BK breakfast and I figured we'll give it a shot. Unfortunately for the workers, not for us bc we weren't in a rush, they were understaffed. The wait time was long even with few people inside. The drive thru had a couple cars when we came in, but quickly built up. There was literally three people working. The woman who served us still managed to have a smile on her face and apologize multiple times for the wait time. She also threw in a free orange juice which was very nice of her. Restaurant was clean, including what you can see if the prep areas and directly behind the counter. They need more help, it's not fair to have to work like that. Especially on a Sunday when people hit breakfast after church. Crew handled being short very well. Oh, the food was also, to my surprise, on point. Read moreUpdate. Went thru drive thru to get whopper Jr meal. Price was $5.99. order taker asked if I wanted medium or large. Well, she got me because I figured medium was what was on the board but the price was $7.50 when I got to the window. I asked why and she laughed at me because she said "you said medium". I asked what size the $5.99 one was and she said small. So all I got for the extra $1 was a large soda and I will never drink all of it. The fries were still small....CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH. But what really made me angry was being laughed at. Ok, no more branford burger king for me. Won't make them go out of business but I won't be disrespected and pay for the privilege.
