In October of 2021 we switched to AT&T and decided to go into the Brazil "authorized retailer" store to get started. Biggest mistake! We were helped by a man named Matt. He was very helpful and seemed like he knew what he was talking about with everything. We were trading our phones in to get a credit on our bill. My phone was to give $1,000 credit back and my husband's was $800 in credits, so altogether $1,800 in credits that were said to start coming off our monthly bill by month 3. After the fourth month passed and I still had not received any credit on my bill, I called and asked about it. Long story short- Matt had apparently pocketed our trade in phones and never turned them in so we never got the credit. I have called the store and stopped in multiple times. They seemed like they were going to do something about it at first, but now they just seem annoyed with me. I have called multiple times and when I ask about it, I get replies like, "I did not work back in October so I can't help you" or "I will have someone call you back". It never happens and I am to the point it is not even worth my time to mess with it anymore. Hopefully this review will keep others from getting royally screwed over from Brazil, Indiana AT&T. I was out of town for a few days and upon my return I drove the 50 minutes away from home back to this retail store to return or exchange the charger. The young woman who had helped me & told manager she remembered me but Devan store manager was Rude, condescending, And stated their system only saw receipt 72 hours back”.
