Alabama Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Brazil

This is a great place in Brazil, IN. I stopped here, again, while visiting my sister nearby.

The last few times I got a pizza which I remember was pretty darn good.

Today I got the “hot cheese balls”. I figured they would be the usual fried bar food. Surprisingly, the cheese was very good! A bit of a kick, but I think most anyone could enjoy it. I like spicy, but I think most people would enjoy it even if you don’t like spicy.

The Santa Fe sauce on the side was REALLY good. I’m impressed! I couldn’t figure out exactly what was in it, but it is definitely worth trying. I should have asked to buy a pint or quart. I don’t know if they do that, but I would have gladly bought it.

Atmosphere was ok. We walked in and seated ourselves. They did not have a drink menu, so I ordered the only drink I saw photos of online, which was the bloody Mary. It was actually really good, and beautifully presented. We ordered the hot cheese balls and fried chicken livers. I thought the chicken livers were a bit overcooked. My husband did like the cheese balls, I did not. My burger was so thick and a little dry, I could not eat it as a sandwich, I had to use a fork and knife. The waffle fries was good. My cole slaw had good flavor, but. I didn't like the fine minced texture. It was mushy. I like cole slaw with larger slices and crunch. I loved their plates, they are like beautiful art pieces. My husband said his Italian beef sandwich was ok. Overall, not bad, but nothing stood out...

My 3 sons and I stopped by on the way home from kayaking. We were all starving, and they did not disappoint! We sat at the bar and waited on immediately. We looked over menus while we were served our drinks. Except for one, we had soda. They have a large menu for a bar. We all ordered. I got the taco salad from the specials board. 2 of my sons got cheeseburgers with chips 🍔 😍, My other son, Sean Bussing, was the one who had suggested it.
