This place is a joke!!!

This could have been an amazing 5 Star review and I would have a fixed device (all still at a massive retail mark up) but they didn't have the stones or business acumen to get it done.

Went there for a cracked iPhone 6 screen. Here's my gripe.

My 3 Fix Options: (all before tax) -PCS HQ- $190 after pressure filled up-sell -AT&T Warranty- $175 -Apple Store- $109

They tried to up-sell me from $109 to $200. Since they were no cheaper that the whack AT&T coverage (last ditch option), I tried to haggle thinking they would want to win my business, referrals and 5 star review. NOT at THIS PLACE. They get firm and try to scare you into getting the repairs from them with flawed logic.

The up-sell: The screen repair to is $109 matching Apple. They, then tell you that your LCD is also damaged (like it is a separate part but it is not), and charge you an extra $35. Next he tried to sell me a new ear piece $45 telling you what a fine intricate part this is and it needs to be replaced too. It was in fact working fine, I had been using it since the scree break, but it was slightly off due to the broken glass ONLY.

Now we are at $190.

Plus once anyone not Apple opens whatever i device you have it voids any warranty your devise had on it, and I don't know how, but Apple can tell.

Now I am filling out a carbon copy invoice form. I tried one last time to haggle the price down to $150 out the door. I was still willing to spend $150 just to get this over with, and they would not discount the price at all, they could'a probably won me over with like 10 or 15% off, but no...

So I grew a backbone, grabbed my iPhone, and bailed.

Went right to the Brea Mall, walked into the Apple store and set a reservation for 2 days and got a quote for $109 before tax.

The Kicker Apple tells you the screen, the LCD display, and earpiece are ALL ONE PIECE, replace one, replace all, 1 charge!!!!! Plus my devise will still have warranty... For Now.

These PCS Jerks and the aftermarket phone places like them get you in the door by pricing the same as Apple, and promising to do the work on the spot in like15 minutes and then they up-sell you and put you on the spot.

THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL RIP OFF!!!

This place is awful, and the owner BROKE MY PHONE. I never write google reviews, and I felt the need to write one. I took my phone in to get the screen fixed. The phone was working absolutely fine before I took it in, the screen was just cracked and I wanted to fix it so I could see he screen better. They took my old screen off and put one of there’s on, and it didn’t work, so they put my old screen on, and the screen no longer worked. I was getting text messages that I could hear as he was fixing it, so the only problem was that it wasn’t showing up on a screen. I was getting a bit frustrated, but I was pretty calm, seeing as the owner just broke my phone. I told him that he did and he said, and I quote, “I don’t appreciate you accusing me of breaking your phone.” I took it to another shop who tried hard to fix it, and they said that the guy at HQ did something to the display, and that no new screen would work. I took it to apple and even they couldn’t fix it, and they charged me $300 to replace my phone. I had to buy an ENTIRE new phone because of this shop, and because it is family owned and not a chain, there is nothing I can do. I really wish I had been warned about this place. DO NOT GO HERE. It is not worth it, and this man took no responsibility for this. Go to Batteries plus, which is nearby, or just go to apple or windows. I will continue to tell people how bad...

Been to this place several times and had a great experience . Im constantly breaking my phone and seek them to repair it . This last time I had the worst experience I spoke to charlie about fixing my phone . The screen was black and their was no light to it . He told me that he needed to replace backlight and that he would need about a week to replace because he needed to go under microscope charge would be between 125 and 175 . got my phone back light on working great he had un bent it for 50 dollars which took a minute and replaced the cracked screen .285 dollars later . phone lasted 6 days now screen is black and in worse shape . he tells me he cannot fix after 3 more weeks. But that he would sell me an iphone 6 for 150 . at this time im upset i have exhausted all my money . i told him if i can get a partial refund. I have a broken phone . rudely he started going through the receipt and said i could take back the broken screen here is 20 dollars . i then told him 20 dollars after i paid 285 and you didnt fix it . he pulls out 20 more from his drawer and says here is 20 more to make you happy never have i been so humilated i gave them so much business refered them to friends ..NEVER...
