Also ran into coyotes at the same spot where the reviewer below mentioned. My gf and I saw one off in the distance while another tried sneaking up to attack our small dog. The one who tried sneaking up was not afraid of getting up close and even tried to pursue us even after I picked up our dog. We had to yell and chase it away before it finally gave up.
Happened at dusk right where the restrooms and workout equipment are, so please be aware. Also, there is a sign at the trash can that states PLEASE do not feed or water the coyotes. If you're a local who is doing this, please understand you are putting everyone else in the area at risk for coyote attacks as you are normalizing human interaction and giving them a reason to come back.
Our dog almost got attacked because of this reckless behavior so please do not feed...

Been nice to see People actually getting out and being active. Every once in a while you'll see a Bobcat at the very end of the trail running through.
