Roma Pizza & Pasta - Franklin — Restaurant in Franklin

I just wanted a normal Beef BBQ sub. The sub on the right is the first one I ordered, the sub they remade for me is on the left. As you can see the first sub has very little to no meat, wasnt cut in half, but the bread was soft. I went back to get it remade and they told me I could keep the first sandwhich. I'm thankful they did because I would not have been able to do a side by side comparison. The second sub has an exaggerated amount of meat in it, was cut in half BUT not fully (which I don't understand how you couldn't have cut through the entire sub since you cut my sub through the paper), and the bread was smashed and crispy ( you can see the grill marks in the second sub). This was hateful, if you didn't want to remake the food you could have told me, I would have been fine with paying for another sub. Honestly, I'm not even mad just sad and disappointed. I recently visited Roma pizza & pasta in Franklin, and it exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home.

The menu offered a fantastic variety of options, from classic Margherita to more adventurous creations. I tried the 7 cheese pizza, and it was phenomenal—the crust was perfectly crispy, the cheese melted to perfection, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful.

The service was quick despite the restaurant being busy, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. I also appreciated the reasonable prices for such high-quality ingredients.

If you plan to dine in just know there’s a 4 top and a 3 top and that’s it. Two tables. Pizza crust was tasteless but was not soggy. Extremely crunchy- not chewy. Had a lot of corn meal on the bottom. Pizza itself was also tasteless. The tomato sauce barely covered the pizza and was not a sauce, maybe crushed tomatoes. It was so thin you could see the crust underneath. The cheese had no flavor. We had the pepperoni with mushroom and sausage. It was ok. The cheese sticks.., the cheese was overcooked and it was supposed to have a garlic sauce on it which we did not detect. Again, no flavor and cheese was burnt to the point it didn’t stretch and was brown. So essentially it was crunchy crust. Very small container of pizza sauce to go with it.
