Brewster Thrift Store — Local services in Brewster

I’m a volunteer there because it’s run by my UU church, and I love it! I never come back from a shift without a treasure. It has expanded my wardrobe and my style exponentially. Our manager, Celine, is a real pro at finding and displaying the best stuff, and we have a little of everything- mostly women’s clothes, but some men’s, as well as shoes, outerwear, houseware, glassware, books and CDs and DVDs, jewelry. A friend from out of town visited and called it “the Nordstrom’s of thrift stores.” We have a lot of customers who come in every week and credit cards are ok for purchases over $8. Donations are accepted on Mondays and Fridays, and we frequently get large bags of donated clothing from a high end consignment shop which I will not name. Come see for yourself and join the...

This place has a great selection and is laid out well. The pricing is phenomenal. I was on vacation and packed like an idiot. They had so much to choose from and I didn’t break the bank but still looked fashionable....
