I have been shopping by Christmas tree shop in brick New Jersey for years and I’ve always had a pleasant experience until today. Yesterday I had purchased a small item worth $29.99 unfortunately I misplaced the receipt however it was an exclusive Christmas tree item clearly indicated on the label, and I needed to return it as it didn’t fit in my house. Upon coming to the customer service they were nasty and refused to help me out. They said without a receipt there’s absolutely nothing they could do. When I presented them with the credit card which was used for the purchase so they can search for the item as I have done many times in the past, they said that there’s no way they can search for the item - since the store is under new ownership and they will not do it. What was interesting was that two days earlier I had returned something without a receipt in that very store ! (I misplaced a pouch with all my receipts🙈) Management was really nice at that time! However it was clear that the present manager was just being unhelpful, at best and really not nice overall. It’s quite obvious that Christmas tree shop did not attain new ownership in the last 48 hours. A couple of days ago when I made that other return for which I actually received store credit -I had been dealing with a decent sales manager but the woman on the floor tonight was HORRIBLE. What a shame that such a famous chain has such a difficult manager that has zero clue about customer relations as per the entire vibe she was giving off this includes a sales rep that was also behind the customer service counter. She was equally not nice. What a shame I will not be going back to that store anytime soon and I highly recommend all of you to rather shop at other discount stores like Marshalls Homegoods and TJ Maxx for great finds and buys and excellent customer service where the customer is treated with the highest respect...
Read moreVery upset and annoyed after they said they would hold my purchases til 9:00 pm after their computer system went down and would take cash only, after I was told I could use my debit card. It didn't work due to system. My husband said he would pick up purchases after work. He worked til 8:00 pm after a 12 hour day only to be told the purchases weren't held! They had the receipt with listed purchases. They would try to find all purchases which would have taken forever!! Never an apology and they didn't seem to care! I shopped in there for over an hour!! My husband called me and I said come home for there was no guarantee they would find everything. I have the receipt and will go and try to find everything. Just disappointed in their lack of caring and no apology after they said they would hold my purchases and my husband made the trip for nothing! Obviously there were others who were annoyed also for there were other receipts there. They should really treat their customers with .more consideration. Not the best...
Read moreThis place was awesome the only reason I did gave it a three star rating is because they did not have any white Christmas trees that I was in desperate need for so I had to go online and spend more money that I needed to for a small white table Christmas tree there are other items like Christmas ornaments were really beautiful I definitely picked myself out a couple of nice ones also they have a couple of household items which I did purchase at a good price. I definitely recommend this place a witch it was one a little closer in Toms River I had a bloody Brook which was 20 minutes out of the way big deal I enjoyed being there the people were awesome the Ladies the show professional so provide I couldn't believe it nothing like Walmart Walmart they have an attitude this store is not one bad thing to say about it only I was just appointed about not getting my white Christmas tree...
