Overall, Longhorn Steakhouse is a great experience, unless you're ordering steak đ The state quality is reasonably good, but the real bonus here is the prices. The prices are very attractive compared to other restaurants. Typically they are 20 to 40% less than comparable restaurants. And if you can trust it with a steakhouse, it could be half the price. The sides are top quality, and other dishes like the surf and turf and fish offerings are very good. The ambience is typical to a large chain restaurant, big comfortable tables, cozy boots, dark lighting that sets the mood and interesting knick knack decorations. The only problem is, they don't always cook the steak the way you ask them to. I had come back to the restaurant after a long time away, before COVID, and I hadn't been in that area for a while. The last time I had been there they overcooked the steak twice, and I complained to the manager and he promised me two free entrees. So I had come back to take advantage of that, and they did honor his business card with that written on the back. The problem? Unfortunately, they had overcooked the steak again! So I had to wait while my date enjoyed her meal alone, and then when they brought the steak perfectly cooked the second time, I had to eat by myself. I was very clear asking for the steak rare, they understood I was here a second time because they overcooked it the first time, and they still overcooked it. I guess if you like your steak medium to medium well, you're in the right place. But if you want your steak rare or a medium wear, may have to have that uncomfortable conversation with them and send the steak back. I would have preferred if they had come over when the steak was first served to make sure it was cooked properly, but they didn't. That would have been a nice touch. All steak restaurants should do that when the steak is served rare, especially if it's the second time they cooked it or the customer was back because the previous time they overcooked it. When I told my waiter the steak was overcooked, he definitely did not look happy. He wasn't rude, he did bring a correctly cooked steak the second time, but he could have been a little more apologetic the first time. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant as long as you don't like your steak rare. The prices are fantastic, the service is overall very good unless you're sending...
Read moreAs soon as we walked into this restaurant you could feel the atmosphere was very laid-back. Lots of country artwork very well-placed. My wife and I had a couple of discussions on some of the decorations. It gave us time to wait for our bread. Which came out a warm honey wheat bread that was served with room temperature butter. Which is always great. All the servers seem to be in a very pleasant mood. Lots of smiling sincere smiling.. very knowledgeable on the appetizers, main courses, drinks, deserts, and they had their own opinions on the food they enjoyed. We were advised during our appetizer order that all of the food is very well seasoned. And they were right.. the wings were great.. not that we had any other appetizers to compare them to but they were great.. the wings were so big and good I thought they were ostrich wings. I only had one. I wanted to save room for my giant steak. Which was perfectly done BTW.. we share the house salad which had a white balsamic vinegar dressing which was made in house. I recommend it to everyone. We were halfway through our dinner. When a family of 5 walked in.. it appeared to be a husband a wife a young child looked about 3 and the grandparents. Is the way it looked to me. The man was very helpful 2 what appeared to be the grandfather. It look like he may have suffered a stroke. This younger man appeared to be about 35. He was so helpful with the older man. I felt taken back by this. My wife and I were commenting as we sat there. Observing. He was so helpful I wrote him a note and left some money with the server. I did not leave a name I did not leave a number.. I just told him how grateful I was to see someone helping someone else. No matter the circumstance. I enjoy helping people. I expect nothing in return. Only to pay it forward. The name of the game... HELP A BROTHER OUT!!! In every facet of life... If he wants to help me out he can pay it forward.. I highly recommend this...
Read moreAbsolutely horrific customer service from both the hostess and store manager Angelo. We had a larger group of 9 people and called the restaurant at 4:36 PM to put our name on the waitlist. Knowing we had two young kids and a very pregnant woman in the group, we asked for an approximate wait time and were told 15-20 minutes. We arrived at the restaurant by 4:50 PM. When we arrived, we were told it would be another 15 minutes. We waited patiently in the wait area and had still not been seated. We were told there was another large group who would be âfinishing soonâ and saw that the group had just brought out a personal ice cream cake, still needing to be cut. We then waited for a total of 2 hours, with rude, dismissive responses from the hostess who appeared not to care. At 7 PM, we saw the table finally clear and a large group of customers be seated at the table instead of us. When we asked to speak with the manager about the situation, Angelo came out and did not care about our extremely long wait time. We showed him the wait list notification on our phone and he said âwhat can I say, we made a mistakeâ and shrugged his shoulders. After realizing the restaurant staff could care less about our business, we left. We received a text notification at 7:07 PM that the table was ready for us. Of note, there were also two groups of people with dogs, neither of which were service dogs, in the restaurant which is absolutely disgusting and unhygienic for a dining establishment. My entire family is extremely disappointed and will never eat at this Longhorn again. What an awful evening and...
