Ticket #153-104573: Well I thought with such great quality furniture, the purchase would also be top notch, but sadly it wasn't. I was able to make the purchase with ease over the phone (In other words, you had my money) but then I had to put my initial's on the contract. I tried saving the PDF with my initials on it but it wouldn't save. The sales associate said I had to drive in and sign the document in person or they wouldn't deliver on Saturday. Why in Gods name do you not have the electronic signature capability, or why couldn't the driver just bring it with him when he delivered? I could place an order on-line right? Normally this would've been just irritating mismanagement, welcome to the 80's they want their technology back. But I am a 100% permanent & totally disabled veteran who had 5 surgeries last year and I live alone. So in order to drive the 1 hour round trip just to initial some stupid paperwork, I couldn't take my pain medication, so I would be safe to drive. Needless to say it made for a VERY uncomfortable experience. I tried explaining this to my sales-associate, understanding it was not her fault, but she showed absolutely no interest or care. She dropped me off at the back desk, told the lady I was sick, so I at least didn't have to wait, but then she just walked away. I guess she made her sale and was done with me now. When I was walking out, her and another employee were back to hovering over the front door and didn't even bother to say goodbye or drive safe, nothing. The sales was done, typical furniture store. Read moreI went to La-Z-Boy the other day to purchase a manual recliner. I was replacing a La Z Boy manual recliner that I’ve had for at least 25 years. Rhonda was my design consultant: very pleasant, courteous, greeted me when I arrived, etc. We chatted a little bit, and I explained what I was looking for. She was very knowledgeable and has had a long career with La-Z-Boy. She helped me pick out the right chair for the size of people that would be sitting in it as well with the different fabrics and colors. She was extremely helpful and I did make the purchase within 30 minutes. Product was in stock and is going to be delivered tomorrow, which will be a three day lead-time.
It was great to go into a store and be greeted by a real professional salesperson, who knows what they were talking about. It was enjoyable to deal with Rhonda. I’d highly recommend this location of La-Z-Boy.
My chair was delivered today, 3/21. I received a text late yesterday from Retail Delivery Services with a delivery window. This morning received another text with an updated delivery window with a very precise time and an interactive map I could look at to see where the delivery truck was. 30 minutes prior to that time I received a text that said they would be to my home in 30 minutes. They arrived as promised in the text. Nick and Ed came in set up the chair and showed me how to take the back on and off should I ever have to move the chair to another location. I Had spoken to their Sales Associate, Michelle Gannello, prior to visiting the store and was very impressed with her product and decorating knowledge, interest in our needs as well as her kindness and compassion on the phone call.
