I signed my nephew up for a program they are running this summer for teens on Saturday nights. It was posted on their Facebook page. I called to sign him up like the poster said. But the lady didn't immediately know what I was talking about. Finally, she recalled the program and apologized bc I was the first to sign up. She took my nephews info and mine and said I'll get contacted (a call or email) confirming or with any other info. So, about 5 days before the start, I still hadn't really heard anything, so I called. They didn't have any of my info. They also noted that it was delayed to start a week later. So I'm glad I called! This time, they wouldn't take my info over the phone. Told me to scan the QR thingy. Well, I don't know how to do that .. seriously, I only had the picture of the flyer from fb. I was not sure how to scan it virtually. If I had the physical paper in my hand I know to just take a picture... I'm slow, I know! But anyway, she said just come in. So I'm glad I did, bc it gave me an opportunity to see inside. I've lived in Bridgeport about 14yrs, and walk by this place all the time. Never been inside. It looks great. The table right in the lobby has flyers for all the programs they do for the kids. It's wonderful. I actual winder if they do any events for adults. There were kids inside having a lot of fun socializing, being active. Anyway, the girl at the desk was very helpful and steered me in the right direction to scan the QR and it was easy from there. And she confirmed she saw him on her list and I was all set. In and out in a few minutes. I think the only thing that frowed my brow was that they posted a flyer and when I called to sign up, nothing seemed to be clear on how to sign my kid up. But other than that, I'm looking fwd to this event. And I will update my review once my nephew has gone thru his experience to see if it was enjoyable and informative for him. There is ample start parking, but I know from my walks by the center, that it can get quite crowded and parking can be limited. So I guess it depends on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy daughter had her 8th birthday party here. It was a swim-gym party. We had 50 guests and they all had a wonderful time. Paul greeted us, directed us to where we needed to go, helped us carry items into the center, and made sure we had everything we needed. Mr. Pew the aquatics director was equally fantastic. He did a phenomenal job watching all of the children, assisted them in putting on life vests, made sure children were jumping into the water safely, and safely accommodated the children in what they wanted to do in the water. The gym was clean and didn't have a scent which I was worried about due to its daily use. The price was a little over $600 to use both the gym and pool privately. The only thing they need to improve upon is the kids that were still there for Saturday Academy. They had no one monitoring them or telling them not to walk during the gym during our set-up time. Numerous times I had to tell kids I didnt even know not to touch the equiptment I laid out for the party. It was annoying. I kept thinking, who are these kids with? There were at least 15 of them. š Overall, it was a GREAT day for my daughter. I would definitely recommend booking...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. My child attended their so called ācampā for less than a week and was physically assaulted by a group of kids while the teenage counselors watched him getting beat on and did nothing. The children are ill-behaved with vulgar mouths and no respect. They left marks on my child! I am livid. Imagine paying to have your child attacked and no one taking responsibility for itā¦utterly disgusting. We will not be returning and will tell everyone the horrible experience we had with this organization....
