The Green is a nice place to stop and enjoy a quick lunch outside on a bench if you're passing thru. I been here 50 years. But I had one incident, in October 2018. I was robbed. My wallet, phone, keys. Was dusk. Very few people there. Stopped to make a call. On my way out, at the back side near Canon St , car approached and the driver said something I didn't hear. I just continued walking and minded my own. Right on the sidewalk bordering the park, a man approached thru the park, pulled a small gun, and robbed me. Good, secure, outdoor farmers market with a variety of products and vendors. Some take just cash e.g huge mangoes for 3 bucks each while others accept ebt. In addition there is a booth on hand to give you double value on your intended ebt purchase. The latter is done via tokens and or vouchers.
