Gabe's — Local services in Bridgeport

I love gabes. I have been to 24 states in the United States and whenever I see a gabes store I am in heaven. you can always find something that you like or that you're looking for at such a great price. Most of the stuff is name brand items in your getting them for sometimes Dollar General prices. this particular day that I went into the store I was looking for Montana purses cuz that's my thing. I was like walking around and walking around trying to look for Montana purse and all of a sudden I see these covers for Bibles. I have been wanting some covers for my Bible so that they aren't getting dust and dirt and stuff spilled on him and everything. So these weren't Montana but they look like a Montana Bible cover. And the best part is that they looked like it, so as you can guess I was in heaven I bought two of them and I always a happy camper so as you can guess I was in heaven I bought two of them and I was a happy camper when I left the store that day. I went back probably about a week or two later and was looking for some more but I did not find any they musta went...

I recently went shopping at this store for the first time. I was very impressed with the size of the store and the selection of everything. Definitely no lack of variety here. There are definitely a couple things that need improvement. First, I am physically handicapped. I have to walk with the assistance of a walker. After walking a little way around the store, I started to hurt so I told my son to go up front and get me a wheelchair. He returned without it, and said that he had asked a cashier if they had one, and she told him they had one and she didn't know where it was. Major disappointment there. The checkout process...you have to maneuver through a small maze and wait at the end of it for the next available cashier to yell at you and tell you that you're next. There has to be a simpler way to checkout-without the maze and people...

Wonderful! So here's the thing, I have bad anxiety. So normally I order my groceries or only shop at Sam's club for stuff we need or at places with as little people as possible and not very crowded, or online. Now this store is super crowded! But! The staff was amazing!!! It took me hours to make it across the whole store they a lot of them went above and beyond with great attitudes to help me find all I needed and more! They were on top of everything! If the manager didn't know where it was she would point me in the right direction to the right person. One even took the time to help me find some vital stuff we needed for a trip we are taking for the holidays! Like with each person that helped me my trip was easier and easier! Thank you so much all of you! You're absolutely killing it this holiday season, keep up the good work!...
