Torres Food Market — Local services in Bridgeport

I work close by and wanted a sandwich so I just googled sandwiches near me and Torres Food Market popped up...I truly went to the store based off the internet. I wasn't sure what I was gonna get as far as food and service but when I walked in the store it was CLEAN! That was my first sign it couldn't be too bad! I was sold the second I saw Boars head cold cuts! I ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich on a roll. That sandwich was so perfectly made ...except even tho I paid for extra mayo, it seemed as if I got less than so my sandwich was dry buuuut otherwise it was perfect! Also, it was done in less than 10 mins. I was shocked. I knew I'd spend most of my lunch hour in the store and I was in and out in 10-12 mins. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I paid for the extra mayo and got the bare minimum. That was disappointing. But the service was great and the food was great as well! I'd definitely recommend this establishment to others and I will definitely...

I normally don’t like to leave reviews like these but the customer service along with the food I received yesterday was just not pleasant. I ordered two breakfast platters yesterday morning/early afternoon 8/8/23. The home fries were burnt and old just by looking at them but I still tried them to make sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me, but no, they were not. I asked for over easy eggs and they cooked them all the way through, I called back to ask about my order and they said the potatoes were from today but taste and presentation said otherwise. I told them I would bring back the food when I got off of work. Once I got there I started to tell the girl at the register my reasoning for bringing it back she snatched the food and walked away from me, spoke to the cook came back and just handed me my money back, did not allow me to express the frustration nor did she apologize for the inconvenience. Glad to get a refund. Really bad customer service skills...

I ordered a cold sandwich, got home. When I look inside the sandwich there was a dead food fly there. Never buying anything from there. Wasted...
