The Westbrook — Restaurant in Bound Brook

It was not the greasiest burger, I've been served, but close. The grease mixed with the mayo and soaked through the bun. It was also salted for some reason. I am not sure who was making the burgers, but it was not a place I would visit again. If it was described as a bar that had food service, it would more accurately reflect the business. The waitress was surprised we were eating there on a Saturday afternoon. There were a dozen other people there playing poker, but not eating.

Update: My original review was from about 6 months ago. I have read that they have replaced the cook and fixed some of the problems. I have not returned, but am raising my 1 star to 2, just based on that...

While the restaurant and the staff is great, they need to let the Friday karaoke host know that karaoke is for the patrons, not for him. I will never go to a karaoke session Harry hosts again. He takes too many turns to sing himself and he has a decent voice, but it’s not great, and his job , the reason he is getting paid is to make sure as many customers get to sing as possible. That means he stops taking their turns , if he wants to showcase his voice, he needs to do it another way. He also steps away from the karaoke spot and his job all the time to do god knows what. Stopped in The Westbrook to meet up with a few friends and family. The service was prompt and the staff was very friendly as they hosted our large group. We ordered some apps and drinks and all the prices were fair and the food was tasty. Since it was Friday there was karaoke and it made for a real fun night out. Ethan one of the bartenders got up and sang and she was incredible, she totally wowed the crowd with her beautiful voice. There is also outside seating and ample parking and the entrance can accommodate a wheelchair since there are no stairs. I look forward to...
