Salvation Army Thrift Store — Local services in Bristol

While I have made multiple donations at this location over the past few months and not once has an employee assisted with unloading, while making a donation today two employees actually watched as i struggled to unload a larger heavy item. Both watched for a few seconds and then turned and walked into the warehouse area. Neither emoyee offered to assist me with the item or even acknowledge my presence; outside of watching as I struggled to get it in the basket. Very disappointed.....bought two matching lamps and got home and one did not work...I realize there is a sign that says no returns, but when you sell me something that doesnt work that is bad business....I called and was told the same thing, no returns.....you could at least say bring it back and trade for something else or some sort of store credit .......you need to make sure if you put a price on something it works! or be labeled for...
