Nice little town that became a bigger town when around 20-25,000 people came to the Bristol Roots & Rhythm Festival. The whole State street was blocked off for pedestrians, musicians, and food vendors. Over 15 stages including indoor & outdoor venues with such a variety of musicians, it would be hard to say which music genre, but it all had rhythm!

This is an interesting town. Lots of art, theatre, restaurants, and bars. I was surprised at how many people were walking the streets who looked homeless and on drugs. We decided not to stay downtown as the sun was setting. We didn't feel safe, although it probably is.

Great time at the pepper fest this year, but can we please make a rule about dogs for next year? There were a few dogs that clearly weren’t socialized, friendly, nor properly trained. It didn’t feel safe for my child to be anywhere near them. There were also great ones that were clearly service animals. It just put a real damper on trying to have a good time while hearing dogs growl, bark, and causing anxiety.. Really enjoyed the music and the drink truck! I got the pina colada soda, and my child got the strawberry lemonade. Huge serving, and so good! Does anyone know the...

Was here volunteering for the Rythm and Roots Festival... Transportation for artists, etc, left a LOT to be desired. The City of Bristol did an EXCELLENT job, however the Transportation was CONTRACTED OUT to a local official, is I'm lead to believe, affiliated with Bristol Motor Speedway.

Extremely poor organization with Transportation by the BMS contractor.

A tiny bit of thunderstorm Saturday night, but didn't put much of a damper on the festivities.

Same again for...

Nothing Really Special about Bristol anymore. They destroyed one of the best Nascar Tracks in 2007, Race isn't nearly as good. There is a stupid casino here now, More Homeless here then every before, pray for them, nobody wants to help them. People basically sucks who lives here. Have problems with The Landfill in Bristol. Whole city smells bad. Yeah, Bristol really isn't a good place to live like it...
