A wonderful restoration to have this live performance venue back open and with a full lineup of entertainment multiple nights a week. The local businessman who redeveloped the theater really put a lot of effort into ensuring that every detail was refreshed and carrying on the legacy for a new modern generation. The theater seats 500 across the floor and a large balcony section, which also will include VIP suites for event space. There's two concession areas serving snacks, sodas, and beer on both levels of seating. The show schedules include everything from rock and country to tribute bands and holiday shows; a mix sure to fit about anyone's tastes. The outdoor facade and marquee definitely mark this spot as a "new" Bristol icon!

Beautiful, historic, small, renovated 2-tiered theater. Saw 'Chapel Hart' & 'Aaron Walker' perform there recently. Good sound & presentation. Snack bar. Bathrooms on 2nd floor. Some memorabilia & antiques are present if you look for them (such as large movie camera on upper floor). Free parking on some nearby streets. Downtown area has close eateries & breweries & bars to enjoy before and after a show.

I want to thank the staff at the Cameo. I took my 81 year old mom to see John Micheal Montgomery and everyone was so very sweet to her. They even moved her up to the front row so she would be able to see the concert better. I was very impressed with the hospitality from the Cameo. Thank you!!!

🚨BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY TICKETS! 🚨

Bought tickets to the Rebel Rock Street Show for the April 29th show, concert was cancelled on the 20th of that same month. When the cancellation notice was shared it was said by The Cameo that refunds would go directly back on the card used to pay with in 21-30 days. Here we are OVER a month later and not only myself, but many others have not received a refund. When you call The Cameo don’t expect to talk to a live person- it is all automated. It says in the recording that if you’re calling about a refund to text a certain number they provide or email them. Myself, as well as the others, have tried contacting them via all methods of communication listed above with no response to any. Messages that are sent on Facebook to The Cameo about refunds are being read and ignored. Once I mentioned getting media involved as well as commenting bad reviews on their page, I received a snarky message via Facebook stating that “thousands had been refunded” and “glitches happen. When I told them there were many others that had also not received a refund, they replied with “Send us a list of the many others and we will check into it” That is not my place to do. However, after these messages mentioning media involvement, I did receive my refund minutes later.

If you plan on buying tickets to anything hosted by them, PLEASE take into consideration the possibility that if your show cancels you may not get your refund or it could take beyond the bogus time frame they provide. Also don’t plan on them communicating with you at all because that is a service they do not provide.

You should not have to constantly stay after a company to...

Edit: BEWARE! PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

I see this venue has several other shows scheduled. I did contest this purchase with my bank and got my full refund from them and not this fraudulent thieving venue. Over two months and they’ve still not contacted me and never attempted to give me a refund. They have been reported to the BBB!

What a Mickey Mouse operation they run at the Cameo Theatre! I had ordered two tickets the the Rebel Rock Street Show for 4-29-23 and was notified only two days before the concert on 4-27 that the concert was canceled with zero explanation as to why.

In the email sent to me on 4-27, it was stated that I would receive my refund of over $173 back to my original account that these were purchased from. Here it is 6-2 and still no refund.

But what I’m even more upset about is the lack of response by the venue and Brent Buchanan whom is the owner of this venue. I have been emailing and calling for over two weeks now since the timeframe I was supposed to received my refund was supposed to be applied back to my account was up.

They have not responded one time to several email attempts and when I call the number listed, all I get is a recording asking for my name and number and to leave a message and I’ve left several messages only to be ignored now for two weeks with no call back.

This is very poor business and customer service to not even respond to my multiple attempts. I have even found Brent Buchanan’s Facebook page and sent him a message from there and he has ignored me.

I will never ever do business with this venue again and my next stop is reporting them to the BBB for the theft...

Just went to see Stryper this past weekend and it was a great show! The theater is a great venue to see really exciting national acts. My review is more specifically about one of their staff. After the opening act we noticed a couple of seats two rows in front of us that we unused. Trying to do it the proper way I went to ask someone. During a very busy time I found Cheryl Buchanan. I asked her about possibly moving up and she immediately made sure they were not spoken for and thanked me for asking. We found our new seats even more comfortable than what we had and on the aisle. Being from out of town we had taken an Uber from our hotel to downtown for dinner and the show. We had asked our hotel, a local bartender and our Uber driver to make sure there would be service after the show. Well the show was over and right on cue there were no Ubers running and no taxis. Once again by luck I found Cheryl and asked her for some advice on what to do. Without hesitation she said not to worry she would drive us back. And she did! Our world needs more kind people like Cheryl. She made our night out even more memorable. Thank you so much and...
