On behalf of a family member that worked there, I will say that this business is an absolute joke. The manager used to work in a bank prior to running this business, therefore the entirety of the store must be completely silent and if you're loud then the owner will complain and state that you're too loud because "I'm on the phone". The arrangements are all 'paint-by-number' and essentially copied and pasted from a recipe that gives the designers no ability to have any artistic freedom. Even if the designers do have a 'designers choice' arrangement, they aren't allowed to. They have to go with an arrangement that the owner chooses, EXACTLY the way she wants it otherwise she'll take apart the arrangement, inform her employees they're being too slow and then proceed to "fix" the arrangement. Even with regular arrangements, if it isn't to her standards, then she will redo them while psychologically abusing her employees as she "fixes" them. She treats everyone she employs very rudely and nit-picks every little thing they do and it creates a very toxic environment. Regardless of the experience someone may have, she treats them as if they're beginners and as if they know nothing.
The front of the shop is incredibly outdated with no new product being moved out and replaced. Nobody greets customers as they walk in, in fear of being scolded for being too loud. Even the employees couldn't communicate with one another because the owner would state, "you need to be working, not talking". If you order an arrangement, even though it's a 'paint-by-number' establishment, they aren't stocked with everything that is required for the majority of the arrangements and your order will not have everything exactly like the photo.
All in all, for a business that is in the heart of BA on Main Street, I will not recommend this business to anyone else for how this establishment is ran and the toxicity it creates for everyone who walks...
Read moreI just walked into Broken Arrow Floreist on Main St a young lady greeted me and asked how she can help me I told her my wife likes Gerber Daisy’s i’ve been found an arrangement that had regular daisies and I asked if they could replace him with Gerbers she went to the back and told me that they only have four white shelves she told me that the Gerber daisies are five dollars apiece but since were replacing them with regular daisies that are two fifty apiece for them so it would be ten dollars more but when i went to pay they charged me$20 more its not the money as much as it is the The principal then an older gentleman from the back came out and started with his back pocket that oh yeah they’re five dollars apiece so that’s $20 and I said again price I was quoted $10 after going back and forth agreed to do the price by that point I wasn’t buying anything from them even if they wanted cut the price in half I assume maybe the way I am what made them think they should take more money from me so I guess what I would say to all of you out there if you look a little different or talk to little differentYou probably wouldn’t want to go in to this StoreShouldn’t have to argue to get the correct price I’ve rambled on long enough what in the world that we are in right now we Have choices so make the correct choice a different florist Is mine oh and I was buying 2 arrangements...
Read moreI was referred to this flower shop by my Caucasian friend & neighbor. I went the Saturday before Valentine's Day to see about 2 large floral arrangements for my upcoming wedding in April. My neighbor said "they are great & friendly ".
I walk in as a Caucasian man and his son are walking out. THERE WERE NO OTHER CUSTOMERS in the shop. I greet the cashier with a big smile. The cashier in return, is stone faced and stoic. I express to her that I need 2 large floral arrangements for my upcoming wedding. She proceeded to tell me that they are "too busy" and to come back next week to have a conversation with the Manager/Owner. I asked if she would take my number and have the owner call me. Unbeknownst to her, because of her, I am NEVER going to patronize their business but I wanted to tell the owner what a horrible face of his/her business establishment is. Nonetheless, I never received a call from the Manager/Owner. This flower shop should do everyone a favor and place a sign on the door that reads "Great service FOR WHITES ONLY". DEPLORABLE SERVICE!
