I've been in business since 1993 and I could not imagine doing to a customer what the owner of Toy Lady Resale in Broken Arrow, did to me. I get that on occasions there will be merchandise that is in high demand but limited quantity. How you handle these situations as the business owner speaks volumes about your customer service. Today I was asked by my daughter in law to pick up a particular toy from this establishment. She was adamant about me getting there early because of the high demand. Since this was going to be for my granddaughter I wates no time hopping in my car to be there early. I pulled up with nobody in the parking lot. I felt good that I was going to be able to grab this toy for my granddaughter. As I was waiting a jeep pulled up and then a b out 5 minutes after the jeep another car pulled up. I thought "here we go" almost laughing to myself. As me and this lady whom pulled up in the black car were waiting in front of Toy Lady Resale I asked this elderly woman what she was here for. She acknowledged she was waiting for the very same toy I had been waiting for. I chuckled and said looks like you were about 15 minutes late. However, she had other ideas and demanded she should be the one to get the toy. By this time a young lady stepped out of her jeep and fortunately she was waiting for an entirely different toy. When the shop owner arrived we all were standing at the front door waiting for the shop to open. When she finally opened the doors the elderly lady ran into the building. I explained to the owner that I had been there first, the lady in the jeep after me and this other woman third and that I felt the purchase should be mine to make. The young lady in the jeep even told the shop owner I was clearly the first waiting. That, for some reason, held no weight with tge shop owner and she chose to sell the toy to the elderly lady. I realize this is not the end of the world but I do believe in fairness and clearly this was anything but fair. I dont recommend you patronize this establishment but if you do take pictures, video and stand directly in the doorway if you arrive early for a popular toy. Horrible...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of shopping at Toy Lady Resale from a different state, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. Despite not being able to visit the physical store due to distance, the personalized service and care I received from the owner were exceptional.
Their selection of toys are always clean and very reasonably priced; you can see the care in the products and how they set up their shop in the photos they post. Despite being miles away, the owner made sure my package was packed with protective packaging and arrived quickly.
Overall, my experience with Toy Lady Resale was great, I enjoy seeing their regular posts looking for things I...
Read moreWas excited to take my daughter and niece to check it out and get some new toys, my 3 year old needed to go pee when we got there. We walked and we were not greeted by the worker, I asked about a bathroom and she just stated no and went back to looking down at what she was doing. My mom walked in and asked the lady where the closest bathroom was and she acted put out and said next door had one but they might not let us use it. We were so disappointed by her attitude and lack of caring that we just left. Won’t go back. I’d rather spend my money somewhere that had decent...
