Nuts 'n Berries — Local services in Brookhaven

Now that I'm back in Atlanta, I couldn't wait to return to Nuts 'n Berries...it's been too long.

Stacy(i), you Gem you. Your welcoming, contagious & generous vibrations are everything! Thank you for yesterday with your time, insight & assistance. All of the employees work in sync with positive energies which made my quick stop end up being 30 minutes.

There are so many new additions (I've only been gone a decade), especially with the cooking/baking ingredients as well as the holistic, CBD/THC wellness products. I picked up a new tincture of Elderberry & couldn't believe the $4.50 price tag...a good balance of the berries & black elder tree/flowers. I got 5 different snacks as well, total price under $26.

The Organic Cafe that's adjacent to the store is still thriving with a lot of Vegan options & now offering virtual cooking classes.

“The original owners sold the store to two "outsiders" with a vision for the next generation of health food store.

We also love supporting other local businesses in the community, because they are part of what defines that community.”

Great resources here for treating your body; however I wish the bald big African American guy with the hazel eyes didn’t follow me around like a thief- it was a very uncomfortable and awkward first shopping experience. He wasn’t knowledgeable about any of the products in the store and didn’t know where anything was so it wasn’t like he was trying to help me. Unsure of whether I’ll return. :(

Update: I’ve since returned quite a bit- I adore Andrew; he and Staci have turned my perception around completely. Andrew is SOO very knowledgeable, he has recommended multiple items that have helped me/healed me and are currently healing me. I love when he’s there. The very first time I met Staci she spent so much QT with me, I could tell she really cared about my desire to find what I really needed as much as I did. Very grateful- this holistic shop has become a staple for me! I LOVE going, they have the rarest best selection of natural products...

I truly don’t know what I would do without this store and the community we have created from the uniquely brilliant customers who frequent here.

Whether it’s Maya helping me troubleshoot a sinus headache or Mari helping me understand what these supplements do in my body, the customer service is excellent. They are patient and kind.

And y’all, let me tell you, they have the best selection of delicious non-alcoholic drinks for those of us who are friends of Bill W. or simply prefer mocktails over cocktails.

Whether needing/wanting snacks, beverages, skin care, gifts, organic meat & dairy, hemp products, or just some friendly conversation, you will want to make Nuts ‘n Berries a place where everybody knows your name. Where they’re excited to see you coming & sad to see you go. Those kinds of places are few and far between these days.
