Costa Coffee - Brookhaven — Restaurant in Brookhaven

Small, high ceiling, modern coffee shop within Brookhaven Village. Things you should know: I. PARKING There's free, limited, two-hour parking directly outside the front entrance of the coffee shop as well as parallel parking along Town Blvd. It can be quite difficult to find a nearby space on busy weekends with all the surrounding shops. II. SERVICE Friendly and timely. I enjoyed that the cafe offers a sugar-free syrup option (vanilla) for my friends that like guilt-free flavors for their coffee. WIFI here is free and you'll notice available outlets throughout the building to charge your phone or laptop. It's a great place to knock out work. III. QUALITY I noted that the pastries are baked fresh daily, but personally haven't tasted one. The cappuccino I had, however, had good ratios of espresso and milk. IV. CAPACITY The coffee shop has fluxes of people constantly coming and going. While there are moments of high indoor seat availability, they quickly vanish with the crowds that...

I thought I would try something new so I googled "good coffee" in my area only to be very disappointed. I asked the cashier who has the personality of a brick wall if she could suggest something similar to what I typically have at other places and she suggested a drink called flat. After receiving it I can understand why its called flat. Its taste just that flat. I told her I typically get hot coffee with a shot of espresso and caramel flavoring. I have no idea how the two relate, It taste like warm water. Usually I can overlook a bad product if the customer service is good. However, that was not the case. I was in area today Saturday at Costco and I decided to visit Costa Coffee, nice spot and clean unfortunately the two servers on the first shift were obnoxious, talking loud as if no customer is inside, the cappuccino I ordered was owful, I didn’t mind paying $6 and 20% tip if it was as good as Sturbucks but I regretted walking to that coffee shop. I would like to mention this wasn’t my first time I was there on Thursday morning and the cashier/barista was pleasant and I might add she gave a wonderful fresh coffee, unfortunately not today.
