Nice store with both new & consignment to choose from. Since The Country Peddler went out of business it was fun to find another consignment store. Disappointing part was when I paid for my items I was not greeted at the register, just told my total, young gal bagged them up & said “here are your items.” Then walked away. I never got thanked. I just provided her business with money & did not get a thank you. That was my take away as I left the store. I think every business should thank their customers. I won’t be back because of that. I love this store and have found some good clothing. However, when I was shopping today, (Friday Nov. 4th around 12 pm) both ladies working at the front register were gossiping the entire time I was in the store. First about another employee it sounded like, and then about a different woman they both knew. It was an older lady with medium length brown hair, and a younger lady with brown/blond hair parted in the middle. My friend and I went to friends and it unfortunately closed in 2 minutes. So, we were about to walk away but the cashier waved us in and let us browse and shop even after closing time. She was so sweet and thanks to that my friend found some conference clothes and I was able to find a nice top for the holiday season. Shops like these are the reason why I’ll stay in the Midwest because of how kind the people are. I will continue to shop at Trendz and support this shop for as long as I can.
