UPDATE EDIT 3-8-22: I have been coming here for almost two full years and had close to 100 massages. The Thai House Massage and Spa continues to provide the best in Thai Massage Therapy. I recently saw Sandy and Mo on two separate occasions. They each did a wonderful job getting out the knots and aches and pains in my upper back, neck, legs and shoulders. Each of these talented and wonderful Thai ladies was very professional and courteous on every possible level. Sandy and Mo were also very, very friendly, knowledgeable, understanding and skillful. I truly appreciate the great massage that I received from each of them. Warm towels and hot stones are also available, as well as lots of refreshments and snacks. This Spa is always very clean and smelling good. I left feeling very relaxed and refreshed. The 90 dollars and the extra cash tip that I gave to each of them was well worth it! Thank you very much Mo, Sandy and the great owner, Nisa, at Thai House Massage and Spa! 8-27-21. I have been coming here once per week for more than 15 months for a total of almost 70 visits. My back and shoulder problems are gone due to their excellent work. The ladies here are always professional, friendly, compassionate, intuitive and always make sure that they take care of all your aches and pains. They have even fit me in on days when they were fully booked which I certainly appreciate. Nisa, Pam, Nine, Kim and April are highly skilled in the field of massage therapy. Thank you so very much ladies!
5-6-21 - Visited here yesterday and saw April for a massage. It was excellent. April was professional, courteous and was attentive to the problem areas of my legs and feet, which were very sore. I have shin splints from running and April did an excellent job with massaging out that area of my calves by using hot stones and deeper tissue modalities. The Thai House Massage in Brookline has top of the line professionally licensed massage therapists and I do highly recommend them for all of your message therapy needs.
4-26-21 - Had a great massage today with "Nine". She was very thorough, professional and very friendly. Felt great afterwards, as all my aches and pains went away leaving me feeling fresh and strong. Thank you, Nine.
Quick update on 10-23-2020: I have been coming here weekly for more than three months. Each massage is soothing, relaxing and therapeutic. The prices are also very reasonable. Nisa and Pam do great work, including hot stone therapy, on my back and shoulder areas. My left shoulder has felt much, much better since I started coming here and I am very happy about that. They are always in full compliance with the COVID-19 protocols, to ensure a very clean, safe and healthy massage environment.
After reading some of the great reviews of the Thai House, I decided to give it a try. I spoke with the owner, Nisa, on the phone to book the appointment. Nisa was so very friendly, accommodating and courteous during our conversations. In fact, she even called me back after I had left a message a day or so earlier, which showed me that Nisa truly cares about her clients. When I came in, I was warmly greeted by Pam, who was my massage therapist. Pam did an absolutely fantastic and thorough job! She displayed a great working and functional knowledge of her craft. Pam also did some stretching and flexibility movements that really helped my sore muscles, especially in my upper back, shoulders and neck area. Pam was friendly, courteous and a highly skilled massage therapist. In fact, the massage was so smooth and relaxing, that I actually fell asleep during part of the session. When the session was completed, Pam booked me for another appointment later this week. Pam also mentioned that clients get one free massage after the tenth visit. That is a nice incentive to motivate people to keep coming back for a great massage. Thank you, Nisa and Pam for a great customer service and massage experience. I look forward to becoming a regular,...
Read moreI suffered my worst neck sprain from poor sleeping posture about a couple weeks ago. Although my condition had improved from some rounds of chiropractic sessions, my quality of life has not been great due to the slow recovery. Getting up in the morning and turning my head would generate much discomfort. I came to Boston this week to visit my family for Thanksgiving and was introduced to this establishment. Upon arrival, I was asked to fill out a questionnaire on which I detailed my neck injury and briefly mentioned my chronic shoulder pain as well (yes, my body is very broken lol). During my hour-long session, my therapist demonstrated great understanding of the human anatomy and addressed my pain points with masterful techniques. Instead of going through a cookie-cutter routine that most therapists do, she worked my body in ways that unlocked tight knots and provided instant relief to my stiff neck and shoulders. I walked out of the place feeling like a million bucks. I’m thoroughly impressed with...
Read moreVisited here twice. The first time was great, however, the second time was not ideal.
Everything was amazing until close to the end of the massage, when the massage therapist decided to move my neck forward unexpectedly and somewhat aggressively. There was some sort of towel around my neck when this happened. I felt a pain when this occurred, but it quickly went away. Within a few hours after leaving the establishment, the pain returned and continually worsened over several days. In essence, the motion on my neck caused me to sustain a muscular injury, making me see a physician.
I do not know what could have possibly compelled her to do that to my neck, especially with no warning. I am greatly disappointed with the experience and will certainly not be returning again. What should have been a relaxing experience, ended up causing more issues. For the sake of future customers, please talk to your massage therapists about how to safely handle...
