Chelas and Drinks to Go — Restaurant in Brownsville

First off .. horrible customer service. It was our first time going & we come from mission tx, ofcourse we were excited about the hello-kitty drinks that they post on facebook. The employee was impatient with us when we asked what was the most popular drink and kept answering us rudely. When we paid, we did not give a tip (She did not deserve one, she was very rude) She walked off and yelled “hay pobres”.. calling us poor for not leaving her a tip, I guess she thought we had raised the window? Who knows. She thought she felt entitled to a tip… not after being rude, sorry. This was a young lady with red hair. We did not let that phase us, we ignored it. Another girl with blondish hair and a beige tye-dye jacket came out and looked upset with us. When we got back, we noticed that one of the hello kitty cup was broken from the bottom and dented when we poured the drink, it all came out. Another disappointment… and all of the vegetables were past due. The celery was soggy. It was a huge disappointment. I hope they did not do this out of spite, God does watch everything. I just recommend for the owners to hire nicer staff. I just wish nothing but the best for both these ladies. God bless them both, i just really hope they didnt do this to...

I had gone one time during the Barbie craze and they legit took like 30-35 mins to hand me 1 drink. The car behind got theirs ahead of me. I had thought maybe it was an off day. The kind man did let me know they were understaffed and I understood. This was mid August 2023. If I remember correctly, I ordered a Pina Colada and it was $18. More watery than creamy but had a good amount of alcohol. Cup just had a lame Barbie sticker on it.

Mid January 2024, I went again and paid $24 for the Michelada (not the hello kitty one) and it looked nothing like the pictures they posted on FB. The girl made the drink quite sloppily and quick and put too much Worcestershire sauce and the shrimp had a bad smell, like the shrimp was that of Walmart quality and expired.
