Went in on May 18th. Rebecca was our sales person. She was very friendly and helpful. We order a mattress and some porch furniture. She said the mattress would be about four weeks and the outdoor furniture would be six to eight weeks. The middle of June came and I decided to call and check on the mattress. The person who answered the phone said it was in and so I scheduled the delivery. The middle of July came and so I thought I would call and check my porch furniture. They put me through to Rebecca. She seemed frustrated with me even calling and told me that I had ordered the furniture in June and that it would be the end of August. I hung up and check my statement and then called her back to say that I had ordered the furniture in May. She then said it would be the end of July. I decided to take a chance and call back July 26th. They put me through to Rebecca and I felt like I had committed a crime calling early. She said I thought I told you July 31st. So today is July 30th and she called me (first time she has called me through all this). She let me know that my porch furniture just went into production today and will not be here until like the third week in August. She blamed it on the company that produces the furniture. I really want the furniture and have bought other furniture from them with no issues. However, she knew the company was behind she stated and this has happened with other customers and I said well I don’t understand why y'all couldn’t have called me and told me that ahead of time and then I could have decided if I wanted to wait that long, however I have already waited long and now waiting longer. I just want people to be aware of this. I would have not felt so slighted if they would have called, however until the phone call today I have been the one to call and then made to feel like I was bothering and should not be calling. She could not acknowledge that maybe she...
Read moreWhile it is true customer sales service is good...it is not true when your purchase fails to stand up to normal use...we bought a Lazy boy recliner....lower end but warranted as all of their products are.We called Sweats and were told different options ...someone had ordered parts to repair chair someone would be out to fix the chair...then around a month later th delivery men show up...no call to even see if we were home....they look at chair...said Sweats would get back to us....a week or more later I call them lady says parts are ordered...they will be there and then they will call us....This is not a mega store you would think calling a customer who has bought 2 recliners 1 club chair 1 ottoman...1 mattress set and a loveseat would deserve a phone call.Yes I like our furniture....really angry about quality of Lazy boy......never buy another one....if you look underneath partical board...cheap springs hardly any padding in arms or against boards in frame and makes a horrible noise when raising and lowering ....clicks...........cheap cheap cheap...Had chair year and half....even after it is repaired will always feel cheated...
Read moreSo very disappointed with the quality of the product that we have purchased from this store. We shopped local for quality and by far is that what we have received. Purchased a couch and table and within the first year of owning both have fallen apart. Purchased the warranty plan and come to find that the seams separating within that time is not covered. We have accidental coverage on our table as well and the one chair is completely scratched from my husbands short button and that is also not covered. You get the run around from the warranty company then the store service as well. Misleading information at time of purchase and terrible customer service. The only solution is helping to possibly pay for fixing the products. Please think before purchasing I would prefer to buy from Ashley's Furniture and there a corporation. Hoping to find a better local...
